Was the chase on the balconies of the dollhouse a tough fight scene？

陽臺(tái)玩偶屋的追逐格斗戲難拍嗎？

Yeah， theres a lot of wirework， jumping around and stuff like that， but I think it was relatively less taxing on me than the other fights. Actually， the Widow fight was hard because it was near the end of the shoot. It was deep in this New Orleans summer and were in those underground barracks there. So it was extremely hot and humid there and hard to breathe.

嗯，一直要吊威亞，跳來跳去的，但比起其他幾場(chǎng)格斗，這場(chǎng)相對(duì)而言算比較輕松的。事實(shí)上，艷寡婦那場(chǎng)戲拍得很艱難，因?yàn)殡娪暗呐臄z已經(jīng)接近尾聲。當(dāng)時(shí)是新奧爾良的盛夏時(shí)節(jié)，我們又在地下軍營里，里面極其悶熱潮濕，難以呼吸。

Do those throwing stars actually throw well？

飛鏢好飛嗎？

They get bent up pretty easily， which were basically laser cut pieces of steel. We did mess around with them a lot.

飛鏢很容易彎，它們實(shí)際上是激光切割的鋼片。我們常常被弄得手忙腳亂的。

The colors are so vibrant on TV. What does it look like when youre on location？

銀幕上的場(chǎng)景色彩艷麗，你在現(xiàn)場(chǎng)看到的是怎么樣的呢？

It is pretty brilliant looking. The lighting is done by Shane Hurlbut our cinematographer. Hes just amazing. You walk onto some of those sets and its just gorgeous. That golden light that comes through， the poppies were there. Most of it you can see while were making it. Most of it is done through lighting but not much is done through color correction.

色彩相當(dāng)明麗。燈光是我們的電影攝影技師謝恩·赫爾巴特做的。他簡直神了。你只要走入場(chǎng)景，一切都絢麗奪目起來。金色燈光穿射過來，罌粟花立馬顯現(xiàn)。你看到的大部分就是我們實(shí)際拍攝所得的，明麗的色彩效果大多靠燈光打造，靠上色修正的不多。

Do you fight in motion capture in Warcraft？

《魔獸》拍攝中你參與了動(dòng)態(tài)捕捉嗎？

Yeah， I fight in motion capture but very different than how I fight in Badlands. Hes an orc monster so I had to learn how to fight like that， as well as learn how to move and walk and breathe and talk like an orc. That was a major part of the training for that movie.

有，我參與了動(dòng)態(tài)捕捉，但和我在《荒原》里的不一樣。他是半獸人，所以我得學(xué)他打斗的樣子，還要學(xué)習(xí)如何像半獸人一樣行動(dòng)、走路、呼吸以及說話。這是拍攝這部電影要訓(xùn)練的重頭戲。

Was performance capture a big adaptation for you？

One of the main driving forces for me to accept this movie was that I got to work in motion capture and I wanted to explore it. The technologys gotten to the point where its really advanced now. Ive seen a 95% completed version of the movie and just looking at the level of detail， the orc I play， you can see the pores in their skin and you can see the moisture in their eyes.

使我接受這部電影的動(dòng)力之一是我可以參與動(dòng)態(tài)捕捉，我也想探索一番。拍攝技術(shù)現(xiàn)在確實(shí)先進(jìn)。我看過電影完成到95%的版本，光看看我扮演的半獸人的細(xì)節(jié)制作，你都能看到皮膚毛孔和眼睛里的水分。

Orcs are one of the most famous creatures in Warcraft. Did you play the game and did it help you at all with research？

半獸人是《魔獸》里最知名的生物了，你自己玩這款游戲嗎？對(duì)你的研究有沒有幫助？

I tried to go through a lot of the lore online. It was very informative. The character really came to fruition during that period we did the orc class to learn how to move like orcs. It was an interesting process. It helped me develop the character in a massive way.

我試圖在網(wǎng)上多學(xué)點(diǎn)知識(shí)，上面信息量很大。在我們開始上半獸人課，學(xué)習(xí)如何像半獸人一樣行動(dòng)的那一段時(shí)間里，這個(gè)角色就真正成熟了起來。這個(gè)過程很有意思，在角色的塑造上給了我很多幫助。
