The8)inscriptionof Ancient China’s Twenty-Four Solar Terms extended the number of Chinese items on the list to 31. The seasonal system was based on the sun’s9)annualmotion and it guided agricultural production and daily life, especially down the Yellow River where Chinese civilization was born.

The system was completely established during the Qin (221-206 BC) and Han (206 BC-AD 220) dynasties. It was10)crucialto agricultural activities, such as when to11)sowseeds and when to harvest.

People still use the system to better prepare their bodies for changes in weather.

Daxue, or Heavy Snow, the 21stsolar term, will begin on Dec. 7thand end on Dec. 20thin 2016. It brought cold and snow to much of China, more than the 20thsolar term, Xiaoxue, or Light Snow, which ran from Nov. 22thto Dec. 6th. People are advised to drink hot soup with12)gingerand13)Chinese datesto fight the cold and eat oranges to prevent14)rhinitisand coughing.

The solar terms spread to other East Asian countries such as the Republic of Korea, Japan and Vietnam.The terms remain of particular importance to farmers. Some15)ritualsand festivities are associated with the terms, contributing to communities’ cultural16)identities.

China’s delight at the decision was shared by Cuba, for its17)sensualrumba dance, and Belgium for its18)thrivingbeer culture.

The UN body said the rumba evokes “grace, sensuality and joy.” It also said that the dance started in poor areas as an “expression of19)resistanceand self-esteem.” The Cuban20)delegationto the Addis Ababa meeting dedicated the selection to late longtime leaderFidel Castro⑥：菲德爾·卡斯特羅（Fidel Castro，1926-2016），古巴政治家、思想家、軍事家、無產(chǎn)階級革命家及馬克思主義者，被譽為“古巴國父”。.

Meanwhile, UNESCO also spoke about Belgium; how it has over 1,500 types of beer, and that“making and appreciating beer is part of the living heritage throughout Belgium.”

The list of intangible cultural treasures was created 10 years ago to make sure that important cultural treasures survive. However, one new addition to the list, Ugandan traditional music seems to be dying out because the instruments come from endangered species. UNESCO said this intangible heritage is “in urgent need of22)safeguarding.”

聯(lián)合國教科文組織已將中國的“二十四節(jié)氣”列入其非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄中，同時入選的還有古巴的倫巴舞和比利時的啤酒文化。

本屆會議考慮了《2016年人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表名錄》中的37項提名。

聯(lián)合國教科文組織于11月28日在埃塞俄比亞的首都亞的斯亞貝巴召開的非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)會議上宣布了此次增補。

中國古代“二十四節(jié)氣”的入選，將中國入選項目的數(shù)目增加到了31條。這一季節(jié)性體系是根據(jù)太陽每年的運動規(guī)律而建立的，它指導(dǎo)著農(nóng)事活動和人們的日常生活。特別是在黃河流域一帶的中華文明發(fā)源地，“二十四節(jié)氣”起著重要的指導(dǎo)作用。

這一體系在秦朝（公元前221～公元前206年）和漢朝（公元前206～公元220年）期間就已經(jīng)完全建立起來了。它對農(nóng)業(yè)活動起著至關(guān)重要的作用，比如告訴人們應(yīng)該何時播種及何時收割。

人們依然會利用這套體系，讓他們的身體能更好地應(yīng)對天氣的變化。

第21個節(jié)氣，大雪，在2016年開始于12月7日、結(jié)束于12月20日。比起第20個開始于11月22日、結(jié)束于12月6日的節(jié)氣—小雪，大雪給中國的大部分地區(qū)帶來了更多的嚴寒和降雪。這個節(jié)氣宜多喝加了姜和紅棗的熱湯來抵御嚴寒，還要多吃橙子來預(yù)防鼻炎和咳嗽。

節(jié)氣還被廣泛傳播到了其他的東亞國家，如韓國、日本和越南。這些節(jié)氣對農(nóng)民來說依然十分重要。有些儀式和節(jié)慶也與這些節(jié)氣有關(guān)，有助于社會的文化認同。

古巴和比利時也分享了這一決定給中國帶來的喜悅，古巴性感的倫巴舞和比利時繁榮的啤酒文化也雙雙入選。

聯(lián)合國機構(gòu)稱，倫巴舞喚起了“優(yōu)雅、性感和喜悅”。它還說，這一舞蹈始于貧困地區(qū)，表達了“反抗和自尊”的訴求。前來亞的斯亞貝巴參加會議的古巴代表團將這一入選結(jié)果獻給了該國曾長期執(zhí)政、剛過世的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人菲德爾·卡斯特羅。

與此同時，聯(lián)合國教科文組織也談到了比利時；該國何以擁有超過1500種不同的啤酒，而且“在整個比利時，制造和品嘗啤酒是活遺產(chǎn)的一部分”。

世界遺產(chǎn)委員會還將每年3月21日的新年慶典莊嚴載入名錄，從土耳其到印度，共有12個國家歡慶這一節(jié)日，同時還有孟加拉國每年4月14日的新年大慶。

非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄于十年前創(chuàng)立，以確保重要的文化瑰寶得以存活。然而，名單上新增補的一項，烏干達的傳統(tǒng)音樂似乎行將滅絕，因為制造樂器所用的材料來源于瀕危物種。聯(lián)合國教科文組織稱，這項非物質(zhì)遺產(chǎn)“急需得到保護”。
