大連：北方的海

不像南方的熱烈野性，大連的海是北方的海，夏季不熱，悠閑舒適。無論是在市區港口，還是小島碼頭，海風綿長悠遠，輕輕吹拂。

這座因海洋而被滋養生長的年輕城市，有著北方的豪爽渾厚，也有著現代國際都市的浪漫時尚。

With advantageous geographical location at the south end of Liaodong Peninsula in Liaoning Province and a well developed transportation system, Dalian city is an important gateway in Northeast China. Along with Chengdu, Hangzhou, the city has become awarded by the International Tourism Organisation and the International Tourism Bureau as one of China's best cities for living and travelling. The attraction of Dalian lies in its sea and seafood. For every tourist and food lover, Dalian generously provides a fantastic variety of seafood: shrimp, crab, conch, oyster, sea urchins, mantis shrimp, etc. Undoubtedly, it is fantastic to enjoy delicious seafood at the seashore in the gentle breeze while seeing the spectacular scene of a golden sun descending over white sand. Dalian is in the warmest part of Northeast China, in which the winter is not freezing cold and the summer is not burning hot. It is after August when the weather in Dalian starts to heat up.

There is another charm of Dalian, the sense of cosmopolitan. In Dalian, people can fi nd architecture with inf l uence from Russia, Japan, and Europe. Standing at the Donggang Pier right in front of a group of European style architectures, I was faced with the azure water where several white boats were fl oating gently up and down among the waves. At that moment I could not even tell where I was. The streetlights provide a romantic feeling in the city at the arrival of darkness when couples are out at the seashore and in the streets.

Being a cosmopolitan coastal spot, Dalian is also a dynamic modern city. The long-term ambition and broad vision in its urban planning guarantees Dalian's international development during modernisation. Its street view that comprises of high rising buildings and wide roads as well as visitors from all over the world also proudly showcases the prosperity of the city. It is not surprising to see that Dalian, a place of beauty and hospitality, has been the host for the Summer Davos Forum for several times.

大連，別稱濱城,位于遼東半島南端，地處黃渤海之濱，背依中國東北腹地，與山東半島隔海相望。作為東北對外的窗口和最大的港口城市，大連在整個東北亞的區位優勢十分明顯。大連的空港、海港、高鐵、陸路都很完善，在中國所有單體城市中，它是與日本城市通航最多的一個。“現在，大連更逐步被打造為東北亞的旅游勝地，整個東北亞的轉運平臺。”大連市旅游局局長李景平說。

大連最吸引人的是它的海洋文化。它的海島、海洋、沙灘、海洋極地動物館都在國內領先。大連海的浪漫，是那種既有接地氣的生活氣息，又帶著外來文化影響的現代浪漫。市民生活很豐富，人們見到很多西式的現代的時髦的，生活習慣上又受山東、東北的傳統影響。大連海鮮名聲在外，大連用鮮美的海鮮招待了每位遠道而來的客人。蝦、蟹、海螺、生蠔、扇貝、海膽、瀨尿蝦……在海風徐徐的海邊，品嘗鮮美的海鮮，欣賞落日白沙，是人生極美的享受。

大連吸引人的，還有她的世界感。“大連是中國第一個掛靠港。早在1979年大多數中國人還不知道郵輪時，就有日本豪華郵輪到大連。那時，海外客人都要求到市民家交流，所以大連人很早就接觸國外的信息，有機會互相交流，互相學習進步。”李景平說。在大連，人們可以看到極具俄羅斯風情的建筑，日式、歐式的建筑群。在碼頭邊，面朝大海，背后是歐式建筑，面前是隨波蕩漾的白色游艇，一時間分不清這是在國內還是國外。華燈初上時分，在大連的海邊、異域風情街漫步，空氣里都是浪漫的味道。

擁有海洋與異域風情的大連在現代化的進程上顯示出旺盛的活力。高聳的大樓和寬廣的道路，顯示了這座城市的欣欣向榮。正因如此，夏季達沃斯論壇近年來多次落戶大連，為世界各地的來客，展示大連的風光與熱情。
