Abstract：The chairman of modern China Mao Zedong has elaborated his view concerning culture and art in the Talk To Musicians，in which he proposed some questions on the current situation and specify the development directions of the music art and the social culture in the period of socialist construction from three relationships：the sino - Western relations，the ancient and modern relations and the elegant and vulgar relations which mean the relationship between the classical and the popular.With the integration of economic，social and cultural development in the contemporary era of knowledge economy，the cultural and creative industries in China are in the ascendant.In the process of deepening the cultural system reform，we learn careful about Mao Zedong's thoughts regarding culture and art，which play an important role in promoting the development of cultural industries with Chinese characteristics.This paper explores the influence of Mao Zedong's cultural and artistic thoughts on the development of cultural industry from the perspective of the cultural industry.

1.The relationship between the “ancient and modern relations” and cultural industries

The ancient and modern relations in the Talk to Musicians can be broadly understood as learn to inherit successively in the case of the respect for the Chinese culture，art and history and inherited tradition.We can not engage in dogmatism and overall retro but should be combined with the characteristics of the times to correctly view the traditional culture and can make the past serve the present.We should remove feudal dross，absorb the essence of democracy，and then innovation.

Under the influence of Mao Zedong 's thought concerning culture and art and the guiding thoughts of Chinese Communist Party in contemporary era，such as the scientific development view，the cultural industry draws on the essence of ancient times and has the times characteristics.The Metaphysics，Lao Tzu，Taoism，Buddhism in ancient times are influential these days，they form an invisible industrial chain and continue the ancient incense tradition，the cultural creative products of a combination of characteristics of the times with the characteristics of accessories，sachets，home settings are also innovative.Republic of China，the Qing Dynasty and Han Dynasty costumes and the vintage and ancient wind jewelry have been improved and become the hearts love and treasure of the young artists.The Thousand-hand Bodhisattva which assimilate the ancient religious and culture of art dance work on the Spring Festival Gala Evening has headed to the World.With the advance of the technology，the internet innovation integrate into the cultural industry，such as the Youku，Google，Baidu and other platforms.The development of cultural industries must first adhere to making the past serve the present，in order to flourish in innovation.endprint

2.The relationship between the “sino - western relations” and cultural industries

Mao Zedong emphasized the content of Sino- Western relations of culture and art in the book Talk to Musicians，and Pointed out that the basic principles of art have its commonality and the form of expression is diversified，which must have the own national form and national style.Treating Western culture and art can not be applied mechanically dogmatism，nor can it be totally westernized or completely abandoned，but should respect the foreign culture，Take the essence and discard the dregs.We should learn foreign strengths on the basis of the own culture and art and make foreign things serve China.After absorbing foreign advanced culture and art and achieving cultural integration and development，we should get rid of the stale and bring forth the fresh.Only by creating China's own unique Chinese cultural and artistic characteristics national style can we establish national self-confidence.

Mao Zedong's "Sino- Western relations" related ideas also construct in the aspect of Chinese cultural and artistic characteristics.Since the mid-20th century，the relationship between culture，politics and economy has become increasingly close，and the level of culture and art has become a part of comprehensive national strength and influence.Cultural industry as an important emerging industry is the 21st century sunrise industry，and become one of the pillars of the world economy.In the Fifth Plenary Session of the Communist Party in 2000，after the first formal use of the "cultural industry" concept，constantly improving the cultural industry policy and promoting the development of cultural industries are both embodied in the "Sino -Western relations" thought.The 17th National Peoples Congress explained that we should actively promote cultural innovation，not only can the policy "the Belt and Road Initiatives" be the Chinese culture and cultural industry in the world of communication，but also can bring economic benefits.We should adhere to keeping our own culture as the base and making use of others，the chairman in nowadays China Xi Jinping hold the "speech at the symposium" on the art while attending a symposium with authors，actors，script writers and dancers in Beijing，he pointed out that art can lead the trend of an era，and stressed that "Art can fly to imagine the wings，but must step on a solid earth." The President Xi asked the artists not to pursue commercial success at the expense of producing works with artistic and moral value and urged artists to create works that advocate integrity，merit and compassion to provide the public the best "food for thought." He Indicated that we should develop own national characteristics of cultural artistic and cultural industries.At the same time，we also establish the fund for arts，and the donation will go to the UN to support the UN Mission.Nowadays，the national policies are almost Mao Zedong's "Sino- Western relations" thought with the development of the times.endprint
