五、教學過程
1.課前導入
T: Before our new lesson, let’s listen to an English song-Old MacDonald had a farm.. When you listen to the song and watch the cartoon, think a question: What animals can you see? 觀看視頻S1: I can see chickens. S2: I can see ducks. S3: I can see dogs. S4: I can see pigs. S5: I can see cows. T: These animals are all at Old MacDonald’s farm. Today we’ll continue to learn some animals at the farm.. We study Unit4 At the farm B Let’s learn. (Write the titles on the blackboard)
2.教學單詞horses, sheep, hens以及cows。
Show a picture, and ask students to guess what animal it is. Students may guess cow, rooster, or horse. If any one guesses right, teacher will say: Yes, it’s a horse.呈現以前學過的fork一詞,讓學生根據fork的發音說說or組合的發音,將horse這個單詞拆分,教授各個字母或字母組合的發音/h/, /?:/,/s/,讓學生自己嘗試拼讀。當學生拼讀對了,及時鼓勵給予表揚,再叫一到兩組同學站起來讀。分別出示一匹馬,兩匹馬,三匹馬,四匹馬,出示馬的同時,出示短語one horse, two horses, three horses, four horses。讓學生觀察這幾個短語中horse的相同和不同。生:后面三個短語中的horse都加了個s。師:Why?生:一匹馬是單數,兩匹或兩匹以上是復數,所以要用復數形式。及時肯定學生的回答,并將關鍵詞復數再簡單重復講解一下,讓學生伸出手指,跟老師一起拼寫這個單詞的單數及復數形式,同時教師將單詞寫在黑板上。
用同樣的方法教授sheep。但是在教授復數形式時要強調sheep的單數復數都一樣,沒有變化。師:為什么兩只羊三只羊中的sheep結尾沒有加s?學生可能會猜測老師忘記加s了。此時教授一定要強調sheep的單數復數都一樣。最后問學生: What colour are they? S: They are white. T: Are they tall or short? They are short. T: Do they have long tails or short tails? S: They have short tails. And students can use their words to describe sheep.
T: I have another kind of animal. Some of them are fat. They are short. They have four legs. Some students may guess hens, rabbits or cats. Ask students to read the word according to the pronunciation of pen. T: Let’s count. One hen, two hens. Choose a group students to read.學生書空,教師板書。
用同樣談話的方式引出cow,并教授cow的復數形式cows。T: Hens lay eggs. How about milk? Where does milk come from? S: Cows. T: Yes, “c” pronounces /k/,“ow” pronounce /a?/. Ask a group of students to read. T: Let’s count. One cow, two cows, three cows. Write the words on the blackboard.
3.讀詞訓練
將四個單詞的單復數形式都教授完之后,再領學生讀幾遍,并提供各種機會讓學生讀,比如師生讀,分組讀,男女生分開讀。
4.課外延伸
當學生能把單詞和漢意對上,并且能熟讀之后,教授跟這些單詞相關的習語:black sheep, eat like a horse。
5.學以致用,小組合作
(1)給學生兩分鐘的時間簡單畫一下他們心中的農場,根據所畫的農場動物編造一段以Are these…? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.為主要句型的對話,然后找幾組同學展示;(2)小組調查:用What do you like? 來詢問小組成員喜歡的動物,其他成員用I like…進行回答,將小組成員的名字及喜歡的動物填到表格中,然后展示匯報。
6.情感教育
在課的最后進行情感教育,呼吁學生保護動物,不要亂投喂動物。
