The Best Gift We can Give Others is a Smile

Hi! Everyone! My name is Mandy. Now, I will talk about what is the best gift we can give to others. Can you guess what it is?

I think the best gift I can give you is a smile. Our smile is beautiful. Every smile, no matter it is from the young, the old, men, women, friends, strangers,even from animals, is warm. And every smile makes the world full of happiness.

Sharing a smile is the most widely understood language. With a smile，you can communicate with others easily. It is a skill that everyone should learn how to use. For example, when you can’t find the way to a certain place, you can smile at the policeman and easily get the right direction. When you are in new surroundings[環(huán)境], you can also smile at others and easily make friends. To a certain degree, it is like a magic bridge!

Besides, smiling is free. As a student, I don’t have much money to buy gifts.But I can create more valuable gifts to others. Last week was my best friend,Lucia’s birthday, and just on that day, she got the grades that her parents were not satisfied with. She came to me. I listened to her carefully, smiling warmly, and told her not to lose her heart, “Smile to life, and you will find the lamp to light up the darkness!” She looked at me, and began smiling again! She even said that my comfort was the best gift she had ever got!

I myself always smile to others. If I smile to others, they will be happy and smile back to me. At this moment, how happy I am feeling! It is thesource[源頭]of happiness.

Let’s learn to smile from now on! And give the best gifts to others!

Art Dreams

It is our dreams that make us humans great. In 1969，the first man set foot on the moon,fulfilling[實(shí)現(xiàn)]the dream of earth-man flying to the moon.

In 2005, Dongguan designed and built the most advanced Yulan Opera House and started its dream of creating an “art city”. From then on, both traditional arts and modern arts have been developed,inspiring[激勵(lì)]more people’s art dreams.

My art dream is to be a great violinist. I began to learn playing the violin 4 years ago. From a totalgreenhorn[新手]to arelatively[相對(duì)地]experienced player, I’ve made great improvement! I’d like to devote myself to playing the violin, to create the most wonderful music!
