□語(yǔ)篇導(dǎo)讀

祝福是全世界的共同語(yǔ)言，而歷史最悠久、最傳統(tǒng)的祝福方式則是用紙質(zhì)賀卡進(jìn)行傳遞。在人們追逐物質(zhì)生活的今天，相互間寄發(fā)一張賀卡相比單純于物欲的追求無疑是一種較好形式的精神慰藉和情感交流。

在現(xiàn)代通訊日漸發(fā)達(dá)的今天，人們使用卡片來慶祝佳節(jié)、生日、畢業(yè)等，仍不失為一種時(shí)尚的交際手段。在各種喜慶的日子，寄上一張精美的賀卡，可以增添生活的色彩，加深人們間的友誼。

賀卡上面一般都印有各種圖案,如果在圖案下面再親筆寫上你的祝賀用語(yǔ),既能表達(dá)寄卡者的真心誠(chéng)意,又能使收卡人倍感溫馨親切。

英語(yǔ)賀卡所采用的語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格依據(jù)收卡人而定。如果收卡人是親朋好友,卡片可采用非正式的格式,語(yǔ)言比較口語(yǔ)化,語(yǔ)氣傾向于輕松、幽默；如果是送給老師或長(zhǎng)輩,用語(yǔ)和格式都要規(guī)范一些,語(yǔ)氣也應(yīng)比較莊重。

□賀卡格式

賀卡一般分為日期、抬頭、正文、結(jié)尾謙稱和簽名五個(gè)部分,類似一封英文信件。

一、寫卡日期

寫卡的日期包括年、月、日,位置放在卡的右上角,和中文賀卡日期的位置不一樣(中文賀卡的日期放在簽名下面)。英語(yǔ)賀卡對(duì)日期的要求并不像信件的要求那么嚴(yán)格,有的賀卡可以不寫日期。

二、賀卡抬頭

抬頭是指對(duì)收卡人的稱呼。它的使用視關(guān)系的親密程度而定,最常見的是“To Mr....”(to也可省略)。 如果是寄給朋友,也可采用“To my best friend”,“To a good friend”等稱呼；如果關(guān)系親密,可采用“Dearest...”或“My dearest...”,也可省略抬頭稱呼。 稱呼后面要加逗號(hào)。

三、賀卡正文

賀卡的正文在稱呼下面。按照書信的正文格式,可以對(duì)齊稱呼或縮進(jìn)四個(gè)字母另起一至兩行寫。

四、結(jié)尾謙稱

結(jié)尾謙稱與抬頭相對(duì)應(yīng),也因關(guān)系的深淺而有所不同,它位于信的結(jié)尾的右下端。常見的有Sincerely yours,Yours sincerely等,親朋好友之間可用 Love,With love,As ever,Affectionately yours等。結(jié)尾謙稱后面一定要加逗號(hào)。

五、賀卡簽名

簽名在結(jié)尾謙稱的下面,對(duì)齊結(jié)尾謙稱的第一個(gè)字母或在結(jié)尾謙稱偏右處。簽名前后不加尊稱或頭銜之類的詞。

□賀卡種類

一、圣誕節(jié)和新年賀卡(Christmas and New Year's Cards)

圣誕節(jié)與新年的賀卡大致可以分為三類：一類是寄給長(zhǎng)輩,像父母、叔嬸、舅舅、姨娘等；另一類是寄給老師、師傅、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)等；還有一類是贈(zèng)同輩的兄弟姐妹,親朋好友。例如：

1.致父母

Dear Mom and Dad,

I will be home,of course,for New Year's Day.But I want to wish you a special New Year's wish.Rich blessings for health and longevity are my wish for you in the coming year.By the way,I miss Mom's spring roll very much!

Your daughter

2.致老師

Dear Mr.Wu,

I'm not your best student,but you are my most admirable teacher.On this special holiday,I,a student of yours,wish you youth forever and much joy to you in the upcoming year.

五月的第二個(gè)星期日是母親節(jié),六月的第三個(gè)星期日是父親節(jié),為慶祝這兩個(gè)節(jié)日,人們?cè)谶@兩天會(huì)與父母親歡聚一堂,并向他們贈(zèng)送賀卡或禮物,以感謝他們多年來的辛勤操勞。有的孩子還在這兩天包攬家務(wù),好讓父母親好好享受一下這個(gè)屬于他們自己的節(jié)日。例如：

四、生日賀卡(Birthday Cards)

在西方國(guó)家,每逢某人生日,家人常常為他(她)舉辦生日聚會(huì),邀請(qǐng)親朋好友參加,受邀的人總是忘不了贈(zèng)送賀卡以示慶賀。生日賀卡一般上面都有印好的圖案、賀詞和歲數(shù),如在已有的賀詞下面再親筆寫上幾句祝福的話,會(huì)給人以親切、鄭重的感覺。例如：

無論是中學(xué)畢業(yè),還是大學(xué)畢業(yè),都是人生重要的里程碑。西方國(guó)家對(duì)畢業(yè)非常重視,學(xué)校舉行專門的畢業(yè)典禮,往往畢業(yè)生的父母也被邀請(qǐng)參加。畢業(yè)賀卡一般都是恭賀畢業(yè)或預(yù)祝未來成功的內(nèi)容,也有人借此寫上幾句話來消除彼此間已有的誤會(huì)。例如：
