王嘉爾：沒有人設的正能量偶像

Jackson Wang， a Hong Kong singer and dancer， is a member of the South Korean male group Got 7 under JYP Entertainment. The first time most people became aware of Jackson Wang was from some variety shows. He was positive and full of vitality in the variety shows， and added his natural personality， he had won a large number of fans. However， in the music world， his charm is very different—he is rigorous， serious and has a strong sense of responsibility. In 2017， Jackson Wang issued personal singles “Papillon” and “OKAY” one after another， and the songs topped the list on iTunes in many countries. In 2018， he released the single “Dawn of us”. In the same year， he received “The Most Popular Newcomer Award” in the annual pop music festival. These achievements are undoubtedly the most important approval for the newcomer. But there is a difficult and tortuous story behind all the achievements.

On March 28， 1994， Jackson Wang was born in a sports family in Hong Kong， China. He was an excellent fencer because he began to receive sports training at an early age. However， Jackson Wang always had a soft spot for music. He loves playing， writing and composing music. In a word， he has a music dream in his heart. Around 2009， Jackson Wang was discovered by Korean star explorers. They invited Jackson Wang to be a trainee in South Korea. This invitation gave Jackson Wang an opportunity to chase his dream. However， his idea was met with strong opposition from his parents because Jackson Wang of that time had achieved some accomplishments in fencing. It was so crazy to give up fencing and start over in a completely unfamiliar area. But under Jackson Wangs insistence， his father made concessions—as long as he won the championship of Asian Youth Olympic Games， he would be allowed to go to South Korea. There is no doubt that Jackson Wang did it. He used a championship medal in exchange for a new life path. In 2010， he passed the JYP Entertainments draft in Hong Kong. In 2011， he officially became a trainee of JYP Entertainment.

1994年3月28日，王嘉爾出身于中國香港一個體育世家， 他從小就開始接受體育訓練，是一名優秀的擊劍運動員。但王嘉爾對音樂一直情有獨鐘，他喜歡演奏樂曲、寫歌編曲。總之，他心里藏著一個音樂夢。大約2009年，王嘉爾被韓國星探發掘，他們邀請王嘉爾去韓國當練習生。這份邀約給了王嘉爾一個追逐夢想的機會。但他的這個想法遭到了父母的強烈反對，因為彼時的王嘉爾在擊劍上已經小有成就。放棄擊劍，去一個完全陌生的領域開展新事業， 這個想法實在是太瘋狂了。在王嘉爾的堅持下，父親做出了讓步——只要他取得亞洲青奧賽的冠軍，就讓他去韓國。毫無疑問， 王嘉爾做到了，他用一枚冠軍獎牌換來了一條新的人生之路。2010年， 他通過了JYP娛樂公司在香港的選秀。2011年，他正式成為JYP娛樂公司旗下的練習生。

Jackson Wang said that the two and a half years of being a trainee is very hard. He said： “All the trainees except me can sing and dance because they had received some related training before. But I had to start from scratch. I even felt inferior.” Jackson Wang had doubted his choice at the most difficult time. Considering he had already received Stanford Universitys acceptance notification before he went to South Korea and he had also been preparing for the London Olympics. However， there is no turning back in the life. With day and nights practicing alone， he developed superb vocals and outstanding dance strength. On January 16， 2014， Jackson Wang officially debuted as a member of the male group GOT 7 and began his journey in the entertainment industry.

王嘉爾說，當練習生的兩年半時間是很難熬的。他說：“所有的練習生都能唱能跳，因為他們之前接受過相關的培訓，只有我是一切從零開始，我甚至感到自卑。”在最艱難的時候，王嘉爾曾懷疑過他的選擇，畢竟他在去韓國之前，就已經收到斯坦福大學的錄取通知書，那個時候他也在備戰倫敦奧運會。但是，人生沒有回頭路。一個又一個獨自練習的晝夜使王嘉爾磨礪出了精湛的唱功與出眾的舞蹈實力。2014年1月16日，王嘉爾以男子組合GOT7成員的身份正式出道，開始了他在娛樂圈的征程。
