The 22nd Ningbo International Fashion Fair （IFFAIR hereinafter） kicked off on October 18th， 2018 in Ningbo International Exhibition & Convention Center.

The four-day IFFAIR covered an exhibition area of 40，000 square meters with 6 halls， and attracted altogether 265 enterprises and 300 brands from 11 overseas countries and regions， including the United States， Britain， Poland， Russia， Italy， France and South Korea. A series of activities such as fashion shows， trade forums and the matchmaking meeting is to showcase the power of clothing in Ningbo and even in China.

To enjoy technology from smart fashion brands

As one of the largest and most influential fashion events in the industry， the IFFAIR this year has attracted more than 100 well-known brands from home and abroad， such as Youngor， Romon， and Maxwin. Each brand brings a brand feast to the audience with a variety of creative displays and rich cultural connotations. The exhibition also attracted more than 20 international brands from 11 countries and regions including the UK， Germany， Italy and South Korea. the IFFAIR bridged the gap and led the international brands to successfully enter the Chinese market.

The highlights of the participating brands are diverse， and the booth design has its own characteristics. The hot spots of industry transformation， such as consumer upgrade， personalized customization， Internet+， health and environmental protection， cultural creativity， intelligent manufacturing， and model innovation， all run through the various brands. Youn- gor participates with its high-end brand HANP that advocates sustainability and health. The whole exhibition hall is full of antique charm， which makes Chinahamp， the high-tech product， and Chinese traditional culture perfectly combined. Romon creates a strong nostalgia style - retro posters， old-fashioned cars， and phonographs are traced back to the Shanghai of the Republic of China. Different series of classic suits in different periods are displayed respectively， and life is interpreted by garments. The 40 years of wind and rain are concentrated in this space of meteorology. Maxwin has brought a lot of garments with new technologies， such as aromatic home clothes， tea carbon thermal underwear and so on. The colorful southwestern Guizhou ink painting booth is particularly eye-catching， showing the ethnic minorities. At the same time， the three costumed Miao and Buyi embroidered women also focused on embroidery at the booth， showing extraordinary skills and attracting attention. The Aifabei booth is full of childlike interest. The red minibus， tent， and grass created a carefree world of innocence. In the Fabrics China 2019/2020 display zone， each fabric has a matching two-dimensional code logo， the scan of which can tell you the composition and information， manufacturer and contact information of the corresponding fabric.

The newly-built 2018 smart equipment exhibition is star-studded. In view of the huge demand of garment machinery and smart equipment manufacturers in the background of garment industry 4.0 and industrial strong city and smart industry development， many garment equipment manufacturers have participated in the exhibition. The exhibition area led by China Smart Sewing Factory Technical Service Alliance includes four production lines， including the shoe-making area， the denim area， the garment area， and the custom-made area， and comprehensively displays the intelligent manufacturing solutions in the four major areas of sewing. At the same time， some of the alliances solutions at garment factories around the country will also be on display. In addition， there are intelligent manufacturing experts in the exhibition area. Together， they have built an intelligent innovation alliance exhibition area， showing a number of industryleading technologies such as stand-alone automation， industrial sewing automation， digital printing inkjet， and providing system solutions to meet the intelligent needs of apparel companies.

To find trends from the fashion show

During the exhibition， in addition to the wonderful static display， the special release show of domestic and foreign brands and the special release of domestic and foreign designers will be staged in the exhibition hall. Today， the outstanding teachers and students of the two famous domestic costume schools， such as Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Zhejiang Textile and Apparel Vocational and Technical College， and the womens wear brand ESBACK have been released. Tonight， the finals of the 2nd China International （Ningbo） Youth College Fashion Design Competition will be staged.

In the following three days， Chinas Top Ten designer Gong Hangyu will bring her release show； Italian custom suit brand WILLI.W will be jointly released with Saling and Goddess House； Hanyi （Zhejiang Top Ten Designer Womens Brand）， Simbana （kidswear）， JOJO （kidswear）， national children wear design and development center and UNCMC and many other brands will also take turns to perform a special show tour.

Frontier Forum： Thinking about new trends in the industry

The IFFAIR this year saw 3 professional forums and a number of industry matchmaking events， including the 4th China Mens Wear Summit， the 4th China Fashion Intelligent Manufacturing Forum， 2018 Chinas “Apparel Industry + Internet” Forum and Matchmaking Meeting.

In addition， a number of sessions， targeted new product introductions， and buyer conferences will be held. There were such matchmaking activities as talent services， including the first launch of companys new products and cooperation projects， apparel talent supply and demand matchmaking， etc.

A series of activities were held， including the Sino-UK Bespoke Tailoring Industrial Cooperation and Ribbon-cutting Ceremony for the foundation of the BTA （China） Center from the Bespoke Tailors Alliance， the Southwestern Textile and Garment Industry Promotion Conference from Guizhou， the HANP Future LIFE Conference from Youngor， a new product launch conference for data integration and IoT smart management enterprise founders from SUNRISE， a conference on “Beautiful New Discovery of Xiaoai Xiaoyou” from Aifabei， and an animation licensing and apparel industry integration forum from the Animation Association.
