兒子就要參加田徑運動會了，作者匆忙帶著兒子到一家餐廳，想買份套餐為兒子補充能量，但卻被告知東西賣完了。他們只得來到一家食品店，一名女店員看到作者滿面愁容，就主動想辦法為他配齊了一份“套餐”，這令作者感動不已，于是把寫給這名店員的感謝信分享出來。

I am sharing a letter I wrote to the kind lady at the grocery store by my house.She had offered to make a mixed pack-up for us on the spot after informing me there was none left and seeing the look of confusion on my face...She packed it full of vegetables， fruit，and more，and went above and beyond!!

Full of gratitude for her warm smile and her thoughtful act of kindness，I gave the following letter to her，handwritten in a lovely card，which included a$5 Tim Hortons'gift card and a smile card：

“Yesterday was my son's track and field meet at school...and as it was also my payday—I hadn't had any fund left the night before to get him healthy‘snack food’that would fuel him throughout the big day.

So yesterday morning，after missing my alarm clock and cleaning up an entire pot of soil from a potted plant that our new kitten hadknocked over during the night，we scrambled（爭搶）to Sobey's to get a mix-pack（vegetables and dip，grapes，and crackers and cheese）—the quick and easy pre-packaged healthy snack that would solve all of my problems!However，when we got there，there was none left，and I drew a blank.

On a morning that was steadily turning out to be‘one of those mornings when everything goes wrong'，your thoughtful act of kindness turned our faces to the sunlight and filled us both with gratitude!
