Staff members transport Dingding， a female panda born in 2017， at the Bifengxia Base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Yaan， southwest Chinas Sichuan Province， on April 29.
Dingding departed for Moscow along with Ruyi， a male panda born in 2016， for a 15-year collaborative research project.
The project is carried out under an agreement on the protection and research cooperation of giant pandas signed by the China Wildlife Conservation Association and the Moscow Zoo on February 28.
