長春市非洲木雕藝術博物館位于長春市雕塑公園內臨主要道路一側，面積僅有5640m2，必須以醒目的體量組合才能實現其對場地的控制。

設計中將展廳部分和輔助部分設計為兩個扭轉并疊加的體量，形成內斂的形式張力，以形體質感和肌理的對比來突出建筑形象，也以此來回應熱烈神秘的非洲雕塑藝術氛圍。

內部空間的營造的主要出發點是營造具備馬孔德木雕原生地非洲大陸廣闊空間特質的展示環境,設計中盡可能將藏品庫、臨時展廳、多功能廳等功能布置在首層，而在二層設置無分隔的大空間展廳，以漸變的折梁系統適應雕塑高度的變化，同時賦予展示空間粗獷大氣又富有激情的空間特質。□

The African Woodcarving Art Museum of Changchun is located on the side of the main road in the Sculpture Park. The area is only 5,640m2, so an eye-catching combination of volumes architectural masses is required to achieve control of the site.

In the design, the exhibition hall part and the auxiliary part are designed as two twisted and superimposed volumes, forming an introverted form tension, which highlight the building's image by the contrast of shape and texture, and responds to the warm and mysterious African sculpture art atmosphere.

The main starting point for the design of interior space is to create a display environment with the vast space characteristics of the Maconde woodcarvings. In the design, the functions of the collection library, the temporary exhibition hall,and the multi-purpose hall were arranged on the first floor as much as possible, and the large space exhibition hall without partitions was set on the second floor. The gradual folding beam system adapts to the changes in the height of the sculpture,while giving the display exhibition space a rough and passionate spatial character.□
