這類書面表達(dá)是指外國(guó)朋友來信或郵件請(qǐng)你推薦大學(xué)、書籍、旅游線路等。不論題目是否要求說明理由，我們?cè)诮o出建議后都還要說明理由。

一、常用套語

1. 寫信目的

（1）Knowing /Learning that our school is going to hold various after-school activities， Id like to give some suggestions. 我知道我們學(xué)校將要舉辦各種課外活動(dòng)，因此我想提一些建議。

（2）Im so pleased to learn that you and your classmates are planning to travel to China. Id like to recommend the following two places. 我很高興得知你和你的同學(xué)計(jì)劃來中國(guó)旅行。我想推薦以下兩個(gè)地方。

（3）Regarding your two choices of how to travel in China， Id like to recommend traveling in China by train. 關(guān)于你的兩個(gè)如何在中國(guó)旅行的選擇，我建議在中國(guó)乘火車旅行。

（4）Im much delighted to receive your letter， asking me to introduce Chinese culture， due to which， Im writing to recommend you some useful books. 我很高興收到你的來信，請(qǐng)我介紹中國(guó)文化，為此我寫信向你推薦一些有用的書。

2. 推薦理由

（1）The reason why I tend to recommend it is that...我推薦它的原因是……

（2）That is why I recommend after-school activities. 這就是我為什么要推薦課外活動(dòng)的原因。

3. 表達(dá)愿望

（1）Ill be glad if you can consider my recommendation. 如果你能考慮我的建議，我會(huì)很高興。

（2）It will be appreciated if my recommendation is considered. 如果我的建議被考慮，我將不勝感激。

（3）I hope my suggestion will be of some help to you. 我希望我的建議對(duì)你有所幫助。
