The Post-Inscription Era

The year 2019 marks the 5th anniversary of the Grand Canal of Chinas inscription onto the World Heritage List. Over the past five years， the canal has transformed itself.

The year 2019 celebrates the 8th anniversary of the inscription of West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou onto the World Heritage List. Over the past eight years， the world has witnessed how the lake has become better.

Now， Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu Culture is on the World Heritage List. The sacred place， which gives material testimony to the five millennia of the Chinese Civilization， has been gradually unveiled over a period of 83 years and counting. Today， we are entrusted with a historical mission to safeguard and carry on the ancient civilization. This ancient state will shine brightly into the future.
