What is modern ceramics？ For most people，the first thought of modern ceramic creation is the porcelain of bottle，bottle，jar and jar，which is beautiful appearance，beautiful shape，or gorgeous ceramic utensils. But the connotation of modern ceramic art creation is not only the pursuit of appearance，but the exploration and solution of problems，the expression of emotion，an aesthetic attitude，a way to face the future，and a complete and systematic creation.

Chinese modern ceramics should belong to a branch of modern ceramic art civilization，but she is more in the spiritual level of development and description. From the birth of modern ceramics，she has made a clear line with the classical ceramic art. Modern ceramics finally get rid of the aesthetic shackles brought by classical thought. It plays an aesthetic guiding role to reflect and reconstruct the light of human nature by using the concepts and aesthetic needs of many modernism to reflect on the numbness brought by the classical aesthetic rigidity and various industrialization and mechanization！

In the modern ceramic creation，creation always follows the development of society. This advanced design sense even affects the judgment of later people. It is believed that creation will always be on the right road. Today we talk about tradition so good，but is there modern ceramics in tradition？ There was no gorgeous Tang three colors in Han Dynasty，and there was no high temperature glaze in Yuan Dynasty. How did they come out？ It was based on the previous innovation. The classics we followed were the greatest innovations of the time. The core part of traditional ceramic design is that the development and innovation of the times have become a new direction of the development of modern ceramics. This is also the most core feature of the development of modern ceramics.

Jobs said，"people never know what they want，and they don't find that's what he wants until you put the product in front of them.". This is the pursuit of modern ceramic workers. People don't know what they want，so what they say in their mouth has an unequal relationship with what they want in their hearts. The demands are often illusory. Their real needs need to feel with their heart and see them with their eyes. And this is the core of ceramic art creation thinking：seeking for demand and pursuing innovation.

Many people think that the present ceramic art creation is the Creator with rich imagination to create and design a modern ceramic works，which is a completely wrong direction. A work from the beginning of the concept，to lock its own goals，he to solve what kind of problems，facing the crowd，the ideas conveyed and so on. Then we should demonstrate the feasibility of design，the support of technology and materials，and understand how it is made，whether the selected materials and the emotions expressed can be displayed perfectly;we also need to think about whether the works can have enough charm after the completion of the work;all of them are to pave the way for finding the final demand，which needs to be considered clearly at the beginning，while the public should consider clearly at the beginning，while the public Often only the final design works are seen，there are many kinds of problems，most of which are not seen in the finished products，these processes are very important，because even the idea is gradually mature.

"Driven by demand elimination" is to grasp the key，find problems from the realistic ceramic works，and then focus on reality，explore the difference between modern ceramic works and modern ceramic works in the concept，and propose solutions.
