2022首鋼西十冬奧廣場位于首鋼舊廠址西北角，總建筑規(guī)模約87,000萬m2，主要為辦公、會議、展示及配套。謹慎保留原有建筑結(jié)構(gòu)，造型忠實呈現(xiàn)出了“保留”和“加建”的不同狀態(tài)，表達了對既有工業(yè)建筑的尊重。穿行于建筑之間和屋面的室外樓梯及步廊系統(tǒng)為整個建筑群在保持工業(yè)遺存原真性的同時，疊加了園林化特質(zhì)。整組建筑就是一個立體的工業(yè)園林，步移景異間，傳遞出一種中國特有的空間動態(tài)閱讀方式。

設(shè)計通過眾多近人尺度的插建和加建細膩地縫合了原有基地內(nèi)散落的工業(yè)構(gòu)筑物，營造出了景色宜人、充滿活力的院落，以“院”的形式語言回歸了東方最本真的關(guān)于“聚”生活態(tài)度。

2 聯(lián)合泵站改造的辦公樓/Pump station is transfromed into the office building

The 2022 Winter Olympics Plaza is located in the northwest corner of the site of the old Shougang plant, occupying 87,000 square metres,designed as offices, conference centres, exhibition spaces and peripheral facilities. The old structure is painstakingly preserved to retain its original architectural features along with the newly-added units, paying respect to its industrial past. The outdoor stairs and corridors crossing buildings and rooftops are built with the purpose of remaining the authentic industrial design while enriching with the features of classical Chinese garden. The building group as a whole is a vivid industrial landscape inside which every step results in a different view,reflecting the aesthetics of traditional Chinese architecture that distinguishes itself with the sense of "floating" and "dynamic".

By splitting space and adding units based on the original industrial layout, we redesign the plant to transform the enormous structures scattered around into a pleasant, vibrant pentagonal courtyard that is livable and connected for its inhabitants, recreating the oriental philosophy of architecture that emphasises on the beauty and advantage of "community".
