1. Lets see the pandas first.

（1）此句是祈使句，Lets用來表示征求對方意見或向對方提出建議。Lets后的動詞要用動詞原形，句式結構為Let sb （not） do sth，意為“讓某人（不）做某事”，sb為人稱代詞時則用賓格。其肯定回答：OK/All right/That sounds good. 否定回答：Sorry， but.../Id love to， but...

（2）first ?adv.“首先，最初”，作狀語，修飾動詞或句子，可位于句首、句中或句尾。

2. kind of interesting

有幾分趣味

kind of意為“有點兒，稍微”，用來修飾形容詞或副詞，相當于a little/a bit。

The little tiger is kind of dangerous.

那只小老虎有點危險。

The girl is kind of shy and she is afraid of speaking in front of people.

這個女孩有點害羞，她不敢在人前講話。

① be kind to ?對……友愛

3. She sleeps all day， and her name is Lazy.

她整天睡覺，她的名字叫懶惰。

（1）sleep

① v.“睡覺”，指睡著的全過程。

Be quiet！ My mother is sleeping.

② n.“睡覺，睡眠”，常為不可數名詞，但sleep前有形容詞修飾時，可加a/an，表示“一段……的睡眠”。

We need eight hours sleep every night.

（2）all day = all day long ?整天

We study all day.

我們整天學習。

① all + 單數名詞，意為“全，總”。

all China ?全中國 all night ?整夜

② all + 復數名詞，意為“所有的”。

4. But I like tigers a lot.

但是我非常喜歡老虎。

a lot作副詞，意為“很，非常”，相當于very much，用來修飾動詞或形容詞比較級，不能修飾形容詞的原級和名詞。

It rains a lot in summer.

He is feeling a lot better today.

① a lot作名詞，意為“許多，大量”，在句中作賓語。

She knows a lot about America.

她知道很多有關美國的情況。

② a lot of = lots of意為“許多，大量”，后接可數名詞復數（= many）或接不可數名詞（= much）。

A lot of/Lots of vegetables help you （to） keep in good health.

why引導的特殊疑問句

（1）why是疑問副詞，常用來引導詢問做某事的原因或理由的特殊疑問句。其結構為：“Why + 一般疑問句？”。

Why didnt you go to the park yesterday？

昨天你為什么沒去公園？

（2）why引導的特殊疑問句，一般用because來回答。because是連詞，其后接一個句子來陳述原因、理由。

—Why is Lily late again？

莉莉為什么又遲到了？

—Because she gets up late.

因為她起晚了。

特殊疑問句的特殊疑問詞包括wh-開頭的特殊疑問詞，和以how及how開頭的詞組。如：what，when，where，why，how，how long，how far等。

形容詞的基本用法

形容詞修飾名詞，用以說明事物或人的性質或特征。大多數形容詞既可作定語又可作表語。

（1）作定語：用于修飾名詞，表示名詞的屬性，常置于它所修飾的名詞前。

This is an old book.

這是一本舊書。

（2）作表語：形容詞可以置于be，look，get，keep，feel，taste，sound等連系動詞后面作表語。

The flowers are beautiful.

這些花很漂亮。

He looks very happy.

他看起來很高興。
