1. —Did you see any cows？

—Yes， I did. I saw quite a lot.

quite a lot意為“許多;相當(dāng)多”，可以單獨(dú)使用，也可跟of + 可數(shù)/不可數(shù)名詞。

We drank quite a lot of wine.

我們喝了不少酒。

I saw quite a lot of flowers.

我看到了相當(dāng)多的花。

表示“相當(dāng)多”，還可以用quite a little和quite a few。quite a little后跟不可數(shù)名詞;quite a few后跟可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。

那個(gè)瓶里還有不少牛奶。

Quite a few students were late yesterday.

昨天有許多同學(xué)遲到。

2. Did Carol take any photos？

卡羅爾拍照片了嗎？

take與photo，picture等詞搭配時(shí)，表示“拍攝;攝影”。

（1）表示“拍攝某物或人”，后接介詞of。

She likes to take photos of animals.

她喜歡給動(dòng)物照相。

（2）表示“替/為……拍照”，后接介詞for。

Could you take a photo for me here？

你能在這兒給我拍張照嗎？

（3）表示“和……照相;用……照相”，后接介詞with。

May I take a photo with you？

我能和你一起拍張照嗎？

3. Did you learn anything？

你學(xué)到東西了嗎？

（1）anything ?pron.“任何東西;任何事物”，常用于否定句或疑問句中。不定代詞something常用于肯定句中。

I knew something about the movie.

關(guān)于這部電影，我了解一些。

Did you know anything about the book？

你對(duì)這本書有所了解嗎？

（2）否定句中not... anything相當(dāng)于nothing。

I didnt know anything about the movie.

= I knew nothing about the movie.

我對(duì)這部電影一無所知。

（3）形容詞修飾anything/something時(shí)，要放在其后面。

Is there anything new in this book？

這本書里有新的內(nèi)容嗎？

4. Lucky you.

你真幸運(yùn)。

這是一句非正式用語，相當(dāng)于Youre so lucky.

Lucky之后的人稱還可以改為me，him等。

5. ... we worried it would rain.

……我們擔(dān)心會(huì)下雨。

（1）worry ?v. & n. ?擔(dān)心;擔(dān)憂

Dont worry about your little boy.

不用操心你年幼的兒子。

I have a lot of worries.

我有很多擔(dān)憂。

（2）worried ?adj. ?焦慮的

常與系動(dòng)詞be/look/feel連用，構(gòu)成系表結(jié)構(gòu)。

be worried about... ?為……擔(dān)心

GRAMMAR FOCUS

一般過去時(shí)（I）

一般過去時(shí)表示過去某個(gè)時(shí)間或某一段時(shí)間內(nèi)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)。

構(gòu)成：

（1）be動(dòng)詞的過去式

am，is的過去式是was;are的過去式是were。

（2）實(shí)義動(dòng)詞的過去式

① 在動(dòng)詞原形末尾加-ed。

work—workedhelp—helped

② 以e結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞后直接加-d。

live—liveduse—used

③ 末尾只有一個(gè)輔音字母的重讀閉音節(jié)時(shí)，應(yīng)雙寫最后這個(gè)輔音字母，再加-ed。

stop—stopped plan—planned

④ 以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞，先將y變成i，再加-es。

⑤ 一些動(dòng)詞的不規(guī)則變化。

play后接樂器時(shí)，前面則加定冠詞，如：play the violin拉小提琴;play the piano彈鋼琴。
