項目位于中國綜合性國家科學中心之首的北京懷柔科學城,它是世界最高光譜亮度的第四代同步輻射光源。項目建成后將為基礎科學和工程科學等領域的原創性、突破性創新研究提供重要支撐平臺。高能同步輻射裝置產生的高能量、高強度的光源能夠使中國在生物醫藥、電子器件、航空工業材料等產業領域具備技術優勢。
該項目由中科院高能所承擔建設,于2017 年12 月15 日獲批立項,是國家重大科技基礎設施建設“十三五”規劃優先布局的大科學工程項目之一,首期建設加速器、14 條公共光束線站及配套土建工程等,建筑面積160,000m2,整體長為858m,建設周期為6.5 年。
基于同步輻射光源的工作原理是以接近光速運動的電子在儲存環的環形軌道上,通過不同強度的磁場做恒速率、變方向的運動,并產生性能優異的電磁輻射。建筑設計從最基本的光源頻譜出發,研究幾何形的組成方式以達到滿意的形式。由裝置區、綜合實驗樓、用戶服務樓3 個功能建筑通過灰空間鏈接,讓建筑渾然一體,增加虛實的對比,讓建筑具有節奏感。節點+軸線+功能單元是規劃的重要理念,靈活、開放、自然是建筑的核心要素。
建筑力求穩重、內斂,體現科研單位自身務實、高效的特征,各地塊在同一規劃的前提下,對外形成嚴整的城市空間界面,并與周邊道路保持良好關系,對內形成宜人、輕松的3 個內部庭院空間。
在景觀設計中,建筑外部塑造出理性、簡潔、城市化的景觀風格,形成建筑與城市環境的交互空間,創造出展示建筑形象和彰顯活力的場所空間,內部采用體現功能內涵的景觀大構成,同時通過屋頂多個開敞屋頂花園,建立立體的景觀體系。
室內設計延續了外部建筑形態,通過內外呼應讓風格內外兼修。
在生態設計方面采用院落式的平面布局、形成良好的采光、通風條件,同時采用了雨水回收、熱回收再利用、太陽能等多種生態、節能設計的方法。
The project is located in the most advanced comprehensive national science centre of China–Huairou Science Town, Beijing. It is the fourth generation of radiation source with the highest spectral brightness in the world. After completion,this project will become a crucial supporting platform for original and breakthrough innovative research in basic science and engineering. The highenergy, high-intensity light produced by the highenergy synchrotron radiation devices enables China to have technological advantages in biomedical,electronic devices and aeronautical industrial materials and other industries.
The construction is undertaken by the Institute of High Energy of the Chinese Academy of Science.Approved on December 15th, 2017, it is one of the major scientific engineering projects in the 13th Five-Year Plan for national major scientific and technological infrastructure construction. In its first phase, the accelerator, 14 public beam line stations and supportive civil projects will be constructed with a total architecture area of 160,000 m2and a total length of 858 m. The period of construction is going to be 6.5 years.
Since the working principle of synchrotron radiation light source is that the electrons move close to the speed of light in the annular orbit of the storage ring, and do constant speed move or variable direction move through the magnetic fields of different intensity to generate electromagnetic radiation with excellent performance, the design concept is derived from the most basic spectrum,to get a perfect form by studying the layout and combination of geometric shapes. Three functional buildings – installation area, laboratory and user service building, are connected by transitional area,to make the architecture as a whole, to increase the contrast between void and solid volumes and to give the buildings a sense of rhythm. Nodal design of functional units along the axis consists of crucial concepts of the master plan, whilst flexibility,openness, and nature are core features of the building.
The design aims to make the building stable and restrained, which represents the scientific institute's practicality and sufficiency. Under the premise of one master plan, the external interface of each block to the urban space is shaped neatly and related with the surrounding roads friendly. Three courtyard spaces,which are pleasant and relaxing, are formed internally.
In landscape design, it is shaped externally a rational, simple and urbanised landscape style, to form an interactive space between architecture and urban setting, and to create a place demonstrating its identity and dynamic. In the inner courtyards,a large-scale composition of landscape that could imply functions is adopted, and at the same time,it sets up a three-dimensional landscape system through opening up multiple rooftop gardens.
The interior design continues the external form of buildings, let the style match between inside and outside through the echoes between.
In terms of ecological design, the project is arranged in the layout of courtyard, to gain good daylight and ventilation. Various ecological and energy-saving design methods such as rainwater recycle, heat recycle and reuse, solar energy are also adopted. (Translated by PANG Lingbo)

張小龍:北京高能同步輻射光源項目主題空間及形態造型設計是利用輻射光源“有機發散”的概念,依照其自身的工藝需求將工業或稱實驗建筑空間的各單體有機地散落于其該去的地方,隨心所欲,自然而然,它是實驗建筑與工業建筑、實驗建筑與公共建筑的有機融合,正是由于其將內在功能和外在造型以及基地周圍環境的有機融合,才使該建筑既獨特又具有標志性。
周棟良:這是一個功能性非常強的科學大裝置巨構建筑,大環外圍直徑510m,增強器外圍直徑154m,設計師通過對同步輻射光源工作原理和功能需求的深入研究,以幾何形體組合高效地解決了功能的需求,并通過簡潔而連續的屋頂把3個部分的主要功能連為一體,功能主義至上,形式追隨功能。對大型裝置區、中型實驗樓和小型服務樓3個不同空間的尺度把握精到,與巨構屋頂下的灰空間一起,對內形成了不同體驗的空間場所,對外與環境相結合,向城市展現簡潔、科技、圓滑、近1000m長的橫向大尺度建筑形象。

ZHANG Xiaolong: The theme space and form design of High Energy Synchrotron Radiation Light Source project adopt the concept of "organic divergent" of radiation light source. According to the technological requirement of itself, each unit of the industrial,or say the experimental architecture spaces are organically scattered where they should be, as they please, as they come. It is an organic integration of experimental architecture with industrial architecture,and experimental architecture with public buildings. It is its organic integration of internal function, external shape and the surrounding environment of the site that makes this building unique and iconic. (Translated by PANG Lingbo)
ZHOU Dongliang: This is a great scientific installation mega-structure building with powerful function with outer diametre of the large ring of 510 m, and outer diametre of the intensifier 154 m. Having deep research in the working principle of synchrotron radiation light source and functional requirements,the designer solved the functional needs efficiently by combining geometry, and linking three major sections together by a simple but continuous roof. It is utmost functionalism. Form follows function. The scale of the three different spaces of the large installation,the medium-sized laboratory, and the small service building is well controlled. Together with the transition spaces under the rooftop of mega-structure, the space of different experiences is formed internally while externally associated with the environment, which presents a simple, technological, smooth, and nearly 1000-metre-long an enormous image to the city.(Translated by PANG Lingbo)
