After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner. She said calmly, “I love you but I know this woman loves you too and would love to spend some time with you.” The woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my mother, who had been a widow for 19 years, but I visited her only occasionally.That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie.

“What's wrong, are you well?” she asked nervously. 一、語篇分析

要想續(xù)寫內(nèi)容與所給材料內(nèi)容連貫、銜接緊密，就必須充分了解所給材料的大意。 仔細閱讀所給材料， 充分理解閱讀材料的內(nèi)容，掌握作者想要通過材料所傳達的意思。

本文是一篇記敘文，文章分析如下：

二、情節(jié)構(gòu)思

我們可以基于原文和續(xù)寫段落首句提供的信息，圍繞中心進行提問構(gòu)思，構(gòu)思要續(xù)寫的故事情節(jié)。 這一構(gòu)思分為四步:

第一步，根據(jù)原文判斷文章的立意。

根據(jù)本文第一段的內(nèi)容——作者妻子要作者抽空陪伴他母親，可推斷出本文的立意很可能是要告訴我們，做子女的，工作再忙也要抽出時間陪伴父母， 否則等到“子欲養(yǎng)而親不待”時，就悔之晚矣了。

第二步，圍繞續(xù)寫第一段所給出的段首句進行提問構(gòu)思。

1. How would the author answer his wife's question?

2. What would happen after he answered his wife's question?

第三步，根據(jù)續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句倒推續(xù)寫第一段一定要寫什么。

分析一下第二段所給出的段首句“At that moment, I understood the importance of saying‘I LOVE YOU! ’ in time.”可知，續(xù)寫第一段肯定要寫作者母親突然離他而去，如此構(gòu)思才能確保續(xù)寫的兩段是相互銜接的。

第四步，圍繞續(xù)寫第二段所給出的段首句進行提問構(gòu)思。

三、潤色成篇

在續(xù)寫的過程中要注意銜接的問題，做到情節(jié)連貫，語言風(fēng)格一致。 從銜接的部位來分有三種：1. 兩段的續(xù)寫與原文之間的銜接；2. 每段的續(xù)寫與續(xù)寫段落首句之間的銜接；3. 續(xù)寫的兩段之間的銜接。同時要注意語法、句型，以及所用詞的準確性。 例如，刻畫人物形象時要選用恰當(dāng)?shù)膭釉~使其栩栩如生；描寫人物心理活動時要善于使用一些形容詞或副詞使其細微、深入。
