
2019年12月15日-18日,由國家糧食和物資儲備局科學研究院主辦,山東省糧食和物資儲備局、濱州市人民政府協辦的“2019國際糧食營養改善經驗交流研討會”在中國山東濱州成功召開。我們特邀了大會報告專家泰國農業大學 Kamphangsaen農業學院Apichart Vanavichit教授、水稻基因發現和水稻科學中心主任為本刊專門撰寫《以抗擊非傳染性慢性疾病和農民貧困為關鍵點的健康驅動下泰國大米發展經驗》(英文),綜述了自2000年以來泰國啟動的紫莓香米(Riceberry)研究發展項目取得的系列成效和持續進展。
Apichart Vanavichit教授最受歡迎的研究成果,一種全新的、柔軟美味、高抗氧化的紫米(即紫莓香米)的上市,是改變全谷物米消費者習慣的重大突破。該文綜述的已受系列專利保護的泰國紫莓香米為首次在中國學界以中英雙語形式刊載。文章及作者介紹詳見P49-P63。

The "2019 International Symposium on the Improvement of Grain Nutrition and the Sharing of Practical Experiences" sponsored by Academy of National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration and co-organized by Shandong National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration and People's Government of Binzhou Municipality, had successfully held in Binzhou, Shandong, China, December 15-18,2019. We specially invited Professor Apichart Vanavichit, the director of Rice Grene Discovery and Rice Science Center, at kamphansaen School of agriculture, Thailand Agricultural University, to write a paper titled "Thailand Experience in Developing Wellness-driven Rice as the Key to Fight NCDs and Farmer Poverty", which provides an overview of the achievements and progresses of R&D projects on Riceberry launched in Thailand since 2000.
His popular debut is new soft, tasty, high antioxidant purple rice namely Riceberry to the market. It is the breakthrough in changing consumer habit for whole grain rice. This is the first time in China academic field that the review about Thailand Riceberry protected by intellectual properties has published in Chinese and English languages on our journal.
