項目作為人居藝術館，是 LWK + PARTNERS 對建筑在地化的一次嘗試，一個回應；藝術館位于重慶嘉陵江畔懸崖的制高點一個三角地塊之上，設計團隊借此探索城市與自然環境的關系。建筑隱含了無數自然景物的形態：懸崖、江灣、夕陽、山形等等，幻化成簡潔的曲線、銳角和切割，劃破長空。立面包括 188塊定制玻璃，陽光可以穿越整個藝術館照耀到后方的建筑上，讓建筑消隱在自然環境里。建筑二層整體進行了旋轉，頂部設有一個長達18 米的懸挑觀景臺，把整個江灣的景色納入眼底。

As a lifestyle gallery, Jiangshan Yun Chu - Legend Gallery is one of our responses to localised architecture.Sitting on a triangular site at the highest point of the cliff close to the Jialing River bank, it explores the spatial interaction between nature and urban space.The architecture is subtly filled with images of cliffs, riverbends, sunsets and mountains, where shapes of natural features were interpreted as simple curves cutting across the sky.To better assimilate with the surroundings, the elevation contains 188 panes of customised glazing, inviting sunlight to penetrate the gallery and fall onto the city behind it.The entire second level has been rotated, adding an artistic twist to the impressiveness of the cliff.The building also has an 18-metre-long overhanging observation deck commanding views of the city.
