—Yes， I did. I saw quite a lot.

是的，我看到了許多奶牛。

quite a lot意為“許多;相當多”，可以單獨使用，也可跟of + 可數/不可數名詞。

We drank quite a lot of wine.

我們喝了不少酒。

I saw quite a lot of flowers.

我看到了相當多的花。

表示“相當多”，還可以用quite a little和quite a few。quite a little后跟不可數名詞;quite a few后跟可數名詞復數。

Theres still quite a little milk in that bottle.

那個瓶里還有不少牛奶。

Quite a few students were late yesterday.

昨天有許多同學遲到。

2. Did Carol take any photos？

卡羅爾拍照片了嗎？

take與photo，picture等詞搭配時，表示“拍攝;攝影”。

（1）表示“拍攝某物或人”，后接介詞of。

She likes to take photos of animals.

她喜歡給動物照相。

（2）表示“替/為……拍照”，后接介詞for。

Could you take a photo for me here？

你能在這兒給我拍張照嗎？

（3）表示“和……照相;用……照相”，后接介詞with。

May I take a photo with you？

我能和你一起拍張照嗎？

3. Did you learn anything？

你學到東西了嗎？

（1）anything? pron.“任何東西;任何事物”，常用于否定句或疑問句中。不定代詞something常用于肯定句中。

I knew something about the movie.

關于這部電影，我了解一些。

Did you know anything about the book？

你對這本書有所了解嗎？

（2）否定句中not... anything相當于nothing。

I didnt know anything about the movie.

= I knew nothing about the movie.

我對這部電影一無所知。

（3）形容詞修飾anything/something時，要放在其后面。

Is there anything new in this book？

這本書里有新的內容嗎？

4. Lucky you.

你真幸運。

這是一句非正式用語，相當于Youre so lucky.

Lucky之后的人稱還可以改為me，him等。

5. ... we worried it would rain.

……我們擔心會下雨。

（1）worry? v. & n.? 擔心;擔憂

Dont worry about your little boy.

不用操心你年幼的兒子。

I have a lot of worries.

我有很多擔憂。

（2）worried? adj.? 焦慮的

常與系動詞be/look/feel連用，構成系表結構。

be worried about...? 為……擔心

I was worried about you.

我很擔心你。

GRAMMAR FOCUS

一般過去時（I）

一般過去時表示過去某個時間或某一段時間內發生的動作或存在的狀態。

構成：

（1）be動詞的過去式

am，is的過去式是was;are的過去式是were。

（2）實義動詞的過去式

① 在動詞原形末尾加-ed。

work—workedhelp—helped

② 以e結尾的動詞后直接加-d。

live—liveduse—used

③ 末尾只有一個輔音字母的重讀閉音節時，應雙寫最后這個輔音字母，再加-ed。

stop—stopped plan—planned

④ 以輔音字母加y結尾的動詞，先將y變成i，再加-es。

study—studiedcry—cried

⑤ 一些動詞的不規則變化。

read—read let—let do—did

go—went have—had eat—ate

bring—brought lend—lent know—knew

swim—swam begin—began feel—felt

play后面接球類、棋類、牌類等體育運動名稱時，前面不加冠詞，如：play basketball打籃球;play chess下棋;play cards玩牌。

play后接樂器時，前面則加定冠詞，如：play the violin拉小提琴;play the piano彈鋼琴。
