這道大學英語四級作文試題要求考生給一位外國朋友寫一封信，向這位外國朋友推薦一個學習漢語的place。place的意思比較寬泛，它可以是一個地區(qū)、一個城市、一個鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)、一所大學，甚至一座建筑。因此，我們不妨向這位外國朋友推薦中國的普通話之鄉(xiāng)——河北省灤平縣。這封書信從稱呼開始寫起，我們假設(shè)這位朋友的名字叫Alan，稱呼可以寫Dear Alan。稱呼要頂格寫，后面用逗號。
