業(yè)主對于這座住宅有別樣的要求，他希望在這里可以閱讀家族豐富的藏書。因此，這座住宅也是一座圖書館。從一開始，城堡和堅固避難所的形象就指導該項目的設計。它必須具有堅不可摧的外觀，堅硬的石材輪廓，以及宜人的木材內(nèi)飾和明亮的空間。

基于此想法，我們將建筑氛圍兩個主要部分。北部是用于工作和存放書籍的地方，南部是家庭生活區(qū)域，兩個體量通過前庭連接。

我們以人工干預的場地等高線作為參考制定了建筑邊界的形狀和尺寸。建筑的開窗形式強調(diào)豎直尺度，并根據(jù)室內(nèi)視覺軸線確定朝向。我們希望這座住宅成為密實和不透明的重力游戲。這源自于基地環(huán)境的要求，建筑滿足了填補空白場地的愿望。

The owner's particular dream was to have a house where he could enjoy all his books.Therefore,the house also had to be his library.From the beginning the image of fortress,of castle,of impregnable refuge in which to feel protected emerged.A kind of "Camelot" for intellectual contemplation.It should have an invulnerable exterior,with hard stone edges,which would keep a pleasant interior of wood and bright environments.

Strategically it was decided to segregate the building into two main volumes.One for the work area and the book store,in the north,and another for domestic life,in the south.Both volumes were joined by a piece of vestibule and connection of circulations between them.

To solve the shape and size of the perimeter,it was decided to experience the result of artificializing the sinuous level lines.The openings seek to intensify the verticality and are oriented with respect to the views and internal visual axes.

We wanted to play with gravity,with density and opacity.Having the feeling of doing what the place naturally requested.Overcome,with architecture,the deep desire to fill a void.
