本文可以寫成三個段落。第一段開門見山地提出所要分析的現象——用PPT上課越來越流行。接著我們可以通過描述一個細節使這一現象具體可感：不論是在小學還是在大學，你很少見到教師不帶這種奇妙工具進入課堂。第二段對這一現象展開分析。我們既可以一邊倒地分析用PPT上課的優點，也可以一邊倒地分析用PPT上課的缺點。但我們認為從正反兩個方面分析更為公允，因為使用PPT上課確實有利有弊。為了使論證充分，正反兩個方面都要略作展開。比如，在分析用PPT上課的優點時我們可以指出，對老師而言，如果使用得當，PPT所呈現的信息重點突出，條理清晰;對學生而言，PPT可以幫助他們抓住重點，跟上老師的思路。在分析用PPT上課缺點時，我們可以指出經常看到老師上課只給學生念PowerPoint，而學生無聊地坐在那兒，納悶既然所有的信息在書上都有，為什么還要來上課。

第三段總結全文，提出建議。我們可以先指出PPT只是一種工具，可能用得有效，也可能用得糟糕，然后建議教師在做PPT幻燈片時要理解學生的信息需求，并在課堂上有選擇地和適當地加以使用。

The use of PowerPoint （PPT） is becoming increasingly popular in class. You can rarely see a teacher going into a classroom without being armed with this magic tool， whether in a primary school or in a university.

Admittedly， PowerPoint presentation is a great tool for both faculty and students. One of the benefits for faculty is that， if properly utilized， it highlights the main points and maintains a well-planned flow of information. It also helps students identify the key points and follow their teachers train of thought. But the drawbacks are equally obvious if it is used excessively. It is not uncommon to see a teacher simply read PowerPoint to his students， who sit there bored， wondering why they bother to turn up when all the information is in their textbook.

PowerPoint is only a tool， and like any tool， it can be used effectively or poorly. It is advised that teachers understand the information need of their students when making PPT slides and use them selectively and appropriately in class. （173 words）

本題要求考生論證一句諺語——精神財富是唯一的真正財富。這句諺語的意思是精神財富對我們最為重要。要寫好這篇作文，我們首先要明確一個問題：什么是精神財富？精神財富是相對于物質財富而言，主要是指一個人的學識、信仰、意志、道德修養等內在力量。

An old saying has it that wealth of the mind is the only true wealth. It means that though material wealth is admirable， it is spiritual wealth that is most valuable for us.

A person with high integrity， profound knowledge， a firm conviction and a strong will can be described as spiritually wealthy. A growing body of evidence indicates that wealth of the mind helps us overcome obstacles and fulfill our life goal. Helen Keller， the American author and social activist， is a good example. By dint of an indomitable spirit， she overcame her handicaps to become the first deafblind American to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. One of the most widely-admired writers of her time， she inspired millions of people with disabilities all over the world. Obviously， a spiritually poor person could not have obtained such an achievement.
