常做定語或狀語的形容詞短語

一些系表結構的短語，沒有了be，就成了形容詞短語，在句中做定語或狀語。現將這些系表結構的短語分類歸納如下，希望對同學們有所幫助。

一、常見的“be+形容詞+介詞”短語

be bound for前往;開往

be full of充滿

be crazy about對……瘋狂

be busy in /with 忙于

be curious about對……感到好奇

運用舉例

作定語

1. I boarded the plane bound for England. 我登上飛往英格蘭的飛機。

2. I know an actor suitable for the part. 我認識一個適合這個角色的演員。

3. A man full of confidence will be successful. 一個充滿自信的人一定會成功。

4. The peasants busy getting in crops are very friendly. 那些忙著收割莊稼的農民非常友好。

作狀語

5. Curious about the story， he read it a third time. 由于對這個故事感到好奇，他又讀了第三遍。

二、易被誤解為被動結構的系表結構

1. be+情感類分詞形容詞+介詞

這類形容詞短語，除了做定語、狀語外，還可以做補語。如：
