International Travel (Industry) Expo Chongqing and Macao: Promoting Cultural Tourism Resources,Sharing Development Experience

2022 Chongqing Tourism Week in Macau Opening Ceremony and the 2022 Chongqing Tourism Promotion Conference (Macao)2022“重慶旅游澳門宣傳推廣周”啟動儀式暨2022重慶旅游澳門推介會。

During 23rd-25thSeptember,the 10thMacao International Travel (Industry) Expo was held at Cotai Expo of the Venetian Macao,supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Macau Government Tourism Office.The guests at the opening ceremony include Ho Iat Seng,Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR);Ho Hau Wah,Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC);Zheng Xincong,Director-General of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR;Liu Xianfa,Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR;Kou Hoi In,President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao SAR;Lei Wai Nong,Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR Government;Wang Yongjian,Secretary of the Bureau Party Committee and Level-I Inspector of the Bureau of International Exchanges and Cooperation (Department of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan Affairs) of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

9月23日至25日，由文化和旅游部支持、澳門特區政府旅游局主辦的第十屆澳門國際旅游（產業）博覽會（以下簡稱旅博會）在澳門威尼斯人金光會展中心舉行。澳門特別行政區行政長官賀一誠、全國政協副主席何厚鏵、中央政府駐澳門聯絡辦主任鄭新聰、外交部駐澳門特區特派員公署特派員劉顯法、澳門特區立法會主席高開賢、澳門特區政府經濟財政司司長李偉農、文化和旅游部國際交流與合作局（港澳臺辦）黨委書記、一級巡視員王永健等出席了旅博會開幕式。

Through the international exchange and cooperation platform,Chongqing’s cultural and tourism delegation strengthen international popularity and reputation of the tourism brand: “A Land of Natural Beauty,A City with Cultural Appeal”,through various forms of exhibition and presentation.

In the 2022 Chongqing Tourism Week in Macau Opening Ceremony and the 2022 Chongqing Tourism Promotion Conference(Macao),Chongqing culture and tourism were promoted with 5 key themes such as “8D Magic City”,“Magnificent Three Gorges and the Yangtze River”,“the Landscape of Wuling Mountains”,“City of Hot Spring”,“Spicy Hotpot”.Two districts of Wulong and Nanchuan presented the perfect tourist routes and related products,and sent gift baskets such as round-trip Air Macau tickets,Century Cruises tickets,Chongqing hotpot soup base,hot spring vouchers and tickets to hot scenic spots for Macau residents.

At the event,Chongqing Wulong Tourism Industry (Group)Co.,Ltd.signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Macao Multinational Tourism Group Company Limited,and a cooperation agreement for “Travel in Wulong” with Macao Lion Travel Service Co.,Ltd.In addition,Chongqing Shanshui Dushi Tourism Development Co.,Ltd.signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lei Cheng Macao (International) Tour and Travel Limited.

Chongqing and Macao promote the culture and tourism together,and share the development experience with each other.More than 40representatives from the culture and tourism industry of Chongqing and Macao attended the 2022 Chongqing-Macao Culture and Tourism Exchange and Cooperation Conference to discuss the next plan upon the cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation between the two places.That will further the development and prosperity of culture and tourism in Chongqing and Macao.

重慶文旅代表團充分借助這一國際性交流合作平臺，通過多種形式展覽推介方式，進一步提升“山水之城·美麗之地”旅游品牌形象的國際知名度和美譽度。

在2022重慶旅游澳門宣傳推廣周啟動儀式暨2022重慶旅游澳門推介會上，以“8D魔幻立體城市”“壯美長江三峽”“穿越古今武陵風光”“世界溫泉之都”“熱辣重慶火鍋”等5個關鍵詞推介重慶精彩文旅資源。武隆、南川分別作了精品旅游線路產品推介，并為澳門市民送出澳門航空往返機票、世紀游輪船票，重慶火鍋、溫泉體驗券、精品景區門票等文旅大禮包。

活動現場，重慶武隆旅游產業(集團)有限公司分別與澳門萬國旅游集團簽訂戰略合作協議，與澳門雄獅旅行社有限公司簽訂“澳門萬人游武隆合作協議”。重慶山水都市旅游開發有限公司與澳門里程國際旅行社有限公司簽訂戰略合作協議。

Qin Dingbo,Deputy Director-General of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development,said that the two cities will adopt two patterns of “tourism +” and “culture+”,so as to strengthen the mutual exchange and cooperation in some fields like hotel management,talent training,law enforcement on tourism,cultural innovation,creative art,cultural museum,protection of the cultural heritages and study tour for youth.And great efforts will be taken to share the resources,policies and tourists.Then it will bring out a deeper and high-quality cooperation on culture and tourism featured solid results between Chongqing and Macao.
