Adventures of Foreign Friends（外國友人奇遇記）

我一直有一個夢想，希望長大后能帶著爸爸媽媽環游世界，因此我從小就開始努力學習英語，并對英語產生了濃厚的興趣。

2025年清明節前的一個周末，我有幸在海口遇到了一位剛來到海南自貿港的外國朋友，他的名字叫Neil（尼爾），他來自美麗的澳大利亞（Australia），我鼓起勇氣上前跟他打招呼，并為他介紹了海南的一些景點、美食和當地文化，希望他在海南有一個愉快的旅游體驗。

Lily： Hi！ I'm so glad to meet you. Are you new here in Haikou？

李麗：嗨！很高興見到你。您剛來海口嗎？

Neil： Hi！ Yes， I have just arrived. This is my first time in China， and I'm really excited to be here.

尼爾：嗨！是的，我剛到。這是我第一次來中國，我真的很興奮能到這里。

Lily： May I have your name，please？

李麗：請問您的名字是？

Neil： Oh， My name is Neil.

尼爾：我的名字叫尼爾。

Lily： Nice to meet you， Neil. Haikou is a really nice city. There are many interesting places to visit. Have you heard of Qilou Old Street？

李麗：很高興認識你，尼爾。海口是個非常不錯的城市。有很多有趣的地方可以去參觀。你聽說過騎樓老街嗎？

Neil：" No， I haven't. What's it like？

尼爾：沒有，沒聽說過。它是什么樣的呢？

Lily： It's a very special street with lots of old buildings. These buildings have unique styles， combining Chinese and Western features.

When you walk along the street， it feels like you are traveling back in time. There are also many small shops selling local snacks and handicrafts.

李麗：那是一條非常特別的街道，有很多古老的建筑。這些建筑有著獨特的風格，融合了中西方的特色。當你沿著街道走的時候，感覺就像穿越到了過去。那里也有很多小商店，售賣當地的小吃和手工藝品。

Neil： Sounds interesting！ What about the food here？ I love trying different kinds of food.

尼爾：聽起來很有趣！這里的食物怎么樣呢？我喜歡嘗試不同種類的美食。

Lily： You're in luck！ Hainan has a lot of delicious foods. You must try Hainan chicken rice. The chicken is tender， and the rice is cooked with chicken soup， so it's very flavorful. Another local food is Hainan rice noodle. It tastes fresh and really delicious.

李麗：你可真幸運！海南有很多美味的食物。你一定要嘗嘗海南雞飯。雞肉很嫩，米飯是用雞湯煮的，所以非常可口。另一個當地人的最愛是海南粉。它吃起來新鮮又美味。

Neil： They sound amazing！ I can't wait to taste them. Are there any other attractions in Haikou？

尼爾：聽起來太誘人了！我迫不及待想品嘗一下了。海口還有其他景點嗎？

Lily： Sure！ The Evergreen Park is a great place to relax. It's the largest park in Haikou， with a large green area， beautiful lakes， and lots of trees. You can fly a kite， have a picnic， or just take a walk there. And the view of the sea nearby is also wonderful.

李麗：當然！萬綠園是個放松的好地方。它是海口最大的公園，有大片的綠地、美麗的湖泊和許多樹木。你可以在那兒放風箏、野餐，或者只是散散步。而且附近的海景也非常美。

Neil： Wonderful！ I like places where I can enjoy nature.

尼爾：太棒了！我喜歡可以親近大自然的地方。

Lily： Also， if you are interested in history and culture， you can visit the Five Officials Temple （Wugong Ci）. It was built to commemorate five famous officials in history. There， you can learn a lot about Hainan's history and the contributions these officials made.

李麗：還有，如果你對歷史文化感興趣，你可以去參觀五公祠。它是為了紀念歷史上五位著名的官員而建的。在那兒，你可以了解到很多關于海南的歷史及這些官員所做出的貢獻。

Neil： That's so cool！ Thank you so much for telling me all these. I'm looking forward to exploring Haikou now.
