Student:

Could you tell me some useful sentences that I could use on a phone-call?You know my English is poor. I'm afraid I can't follow you.

學生：

你能跟我講講打電話時有用的句子嗎？你知道我英語不好。我怕自己聽不懂。

Teacher:

No problem.Basically，there are 3 situations in which people like you can't follow the foreign teacher.1.I may speak too fast.So you can't understand.In this case，you could say \"You speak a little fast，slow down，please\"

老師：

沒問題。基本上，有三種情況，你可能會聽不懂外教的話。第一種：我可能會說得很快。所以你聽不懂。這種情況下，你可以說“你說得有點兒快，請說慢點兒。”

Student:

Wait a moment. I'll have to take down what you said.

學生：等一下。我得把你說的記下來。

Teacher:Ok.

老師：好的。

Student:

Then what's the second point?

學生：那下一點呢？

Teacher:

The second is maybe you can't hear me clearly.In this case，you could say “Excuse me.Can you speak up，please?”or“I beg you pardon?”

老師：

第二點是也許你聽不清我說的話。這種情況下你可以說“對不起。你能大點兒聲嗎？或是請再說一遍。”

Student:

I see.What's the last point?

學生：我知道了。那最后一點是什么？

Teacher:

The last one is you may miss or you don't understand what I just said.In this case，you could say “I'm sorry，I don't understand what you're saying.or simply I don't get it.”

老師：

最后一點是你可能沒聽到或是沒聽懂我說的話。這種情況的話，你可以說“不好意思，我不懂你說的是什么。或者簡單的一句我聽不懂。”
