二、任務型閱讀理解

任務型閱讀理解題的出現與我國教育界流行的任務型英語教學趨勢相吻合。

該題型主要是應用文體裁——廣告。主要考查考生在有限的時間內根據不同人的不同需要捕捉到相應的有效信息的能力。任務型閱讀理解題所選文章的內容大多數富有時代氣息，語言原汁原味。但廣告英語不同于我們平時所學的普通英語，其文句精練，信息量大，表達方式千變萬化，考生面對這種題目，要么束手無策，要么需要花費大量時間才能完成，所以要加強針對性訓練。其實，做這種題目也是有法可循的：先略讀題目，再瀏覽題干，然后帶著問題找答案。在閱讀時還要特別注意文中以黑體、大寫、下畫線等方式加以提示的文字，因為這很有可能是文章的核心或至少是一部分內容的概括。有些無用信息和艱澀的表達，與答題無關，不必理會。而且這類文章的題目一般不難。

該類閱讀理解題解題的關鍵在于正確把握要求與符合要求的條件之間的一一對應關系。解這類題，一般要經歷三步：

第一步：認真閱讀背景介紹，了解話題或主題。

第二步：仔細閱讀題目，找出不同題目的不同要求。

第三步：對照題目的要求，從文章中找出相應的內容。

請看下面這道任務型閱讀理解題：

在第1至第5題中，Lin Tao。Liu Hong，LIMei。Lin Yan和Tao Yong正計劃到國外求學。閱讀下面六所大學的介紹(A、B、C、D、E和F)，選出符合各人需求的最佳選項。選項中有一項是多余的。

1．Lin Tao has a natural way of thinking． He doesn't want to look up words or memorize grammar rules too mach．He wishes to leam Queen's English in an English speaking country as what he does in China in learning Chinese-his native language.

5．Tao Yong isn't so strict with hireself.so his parents have asked him to study with some English-peaking grown-ups while studying abroad．Tao Yong has accepted the proposal， but he also expresses his wish of studying where he can sometimes fish；fishing is his hobby．

A．Lawton College

六所大學的介紹中有若干對答題無用的附加信息，剔除那些無效信息，畫好關鍵詞，每所大學的特色就一目了然。

A：靠近河流，學校安排學生在英國家庭食宿。

B：開設適合各種水平學生的課程，學生自己找公寓或房子住宿，常舉行各種體育活動。

C：靠近車站，課程安排密度高，設商業英語，在校食宿。

D：只安排白天的課程，設商業英語，安排學生宿舍。

E：開設各種形式的課程，注重營造學習環境。

F：一所知名大學，寬松自然的語言學習環境，鼓勵個性發展。

針對五個同學的不同要求，不難為他們找到對應的特色學校——1F、2E、3B、4C、5A。

三、閱讀填空

這種題型設計的目的在于測試閱讀理解能力的同時，考查考生的單詞拼寫和猜詞能力。閱讀完文章之后，就文章的內容填空。所填內容可能是一個單詞、詞組，或是一個句子。請看下面這道閱讀填空題：

A recent stady shows that nearly 50 percent OF the school kidS in Beijing do not hace breakfast．They tend to feel sleepy all day and have bad memories，so it is hard for them to get high marks in all kinds of tests．

Some students who study deep into the night choose to miss breakfast s0 tbat they can have a few extra minutes in bed．Other are given money to buy their breakfast on the way to school because their parents are too busy to prepare it for them．But some of them save the money to buy other things．In addition，a few school girls want to stay slim and often go to school without breakfast．
