我要我的復活節

“耶穌受難那天，可以說是世界上最糟糕的日子。可是3天后就是復活節了，所以，只要我們耐心等待、勇敢承受，再大的困難也能跨越……”這當然不是什么至理名言，只不過是從基督教一個最為古老的節日里悟出的一點點道理。

Eng: It is a long time we haven't seen each other! How about your vocation?

英格：好久不見了！你假期過得怎么樣啊?

Lish：Not bad. What is the name of the book in your hand ?

麗斯：還可以。你手里拿的是什么書啊？

Eng: Dictionary!

英格：辭典！

Lish: Why do you take that?

麗斯：你拿本辭典干什么啊？

Eng: This is not a plain dictionary but a cultural one.You can find the origin of the days such as Easter Day.

英格：這不是一本普通的辭典，而是一本文化辭典。你能從這里查到節日的起源，比如復活節。

Lish: Oh， I have heard that March 22 is Easter Day in this year.

麗斯:哦，我聽說今年的復活節是3月22日。

Eng: You are right. The date of Easter is different every year. Easter dayfalls sometime between March 22 and April 25. It falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following March 21. Christians commemorate Dark Friday as the day that Jesus Christ died and Easter Sunday as the day that he was resurrected.

英格：你說對了。每年復活節的時間都是不一樣的。復活節大概在3月22日和4月25日之間。 它在3月21日后第一次月圓后的第一個星期天。基督教徒把黑暗的星期五作為基督去世的那一天，而把星期天作為他復活的那一天。

Lish：How is like the Easter Day?

Eng：Easter Day celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the most important feast in the Christian calendar. The churches are filled with worshipers， the altars are decorated with flowers， and the music proclaims the joy of the season.

英格：復活節慶祝的是基督的復活。復活節是基督教節日中最為重要的盛宴。教堂里會充滿了朝拜者，神壇上裝飾著鮮花，音樂宣告喜悅的季節。

Lish: Will the persons wear new clothes to church?

麗斯：人們是不是都穿著新衣服去教堂啊？

Eng：Yes. Wearing a new hat to church on Easter Day has been a common practice in the U.S. .

英格：是的。在美國，復活節那天戴一頂新帽子去教堂已成為一種慣例。

Lish: It sounds interesting!

麗斯：聽起來很有趣啊！

Eng: Do you know the \"egg rolling\"?

英格：你知道“滾蛋”這個游戲嗎？

Lish: I know a little. In England， Germany and some other countries， children rolled eggs down hills on Easter morning. British settlers brought this custom to the New World.

麗斯：我知道一點點。在英國、德國和其他一些國家，復活節的早上孩子們從山上把蛋滾下去。英國殖民者把這一風俗帶到了新的世界。

Eng: Easter Eggs is a symbol of immortality and the egg is an important part of mythology， from the ancient Egyptians onward. In Christianity， the egg is associated with the rock tomb from which Christ emerged to begin his new life.

Eng：Do you need glasses？（laughing at Lish）

Lish：No， thank you! (leave angrily)
