網癮，現代社會之痛

2008年夏天，一名男子途經一所中學時，突然掏出隨身攜帶的水果刀，沖向正在做操的中學生。當其正要揮刀刺向被擄住的女學生時，幸被及時趕到的警察和周邊師生制服。經查，該名22歲的男子是山東荷澤市人，在青島一所大學讀書。事發時，他已經連續在網吧待了兩天兩夜，欲趕回住處，突然意識混亂導致了違法行為的發生。

隨著網絡技術的發展和玩網絡游戲（以下簡稱“網游”）的青少年人數的不斷增長，上網成癮人數也在急劇增加。據2008年8月全國人大公布的數據顯示，目前中國約有4000萬未成年網民，其中上網成癮者約占10%左右。而據省內某網癮治療機構負責人推算，目前山東省的網癮青少年大概有100多萬，而且還有不斷增長的勢頭，青少年沉迷網游問題已具有社會普遍性。

隨著“網癮”人數的不斷增加，不良網游已成為破壞家庭和社會和諧的罪惡淵藪。按山東省有100萬名“網癮少年”計算，至少要涉及上百萬個家庭，每治愈一個網癮患者至少需花費2萬元，多則十幾萬乃至幾十萬元，在給這些家庭造成精神傷害的同時也加重了他們的經濟負擔；有些重度患者已無法治愈，給家庭造成永遠無法愈合的巨大精神創傷，許多家庭因此家破人亡，嚴重影響了社會的安定團結。

部分沉迷網游的青少年采取一些極端手段（如：割腕、搶劫、偷盜、賣身等）來獲取上網費用，許多青少年因沉迷網游而滑向犯罪深淵。青島市一名15歲的男孩，自10歲起沉迷網游，曾連續幾天乃至數月夜不歸宿，泡在網吧。因家庭生活比較拮據，便通過偷騙等手段籌措網資。2008年某日，被其偷騙過手機等物的幾名少年相約，要“好好教訓教訓”他一頓，并將其堵住進行毒打，該少年被送至醫院后搶救無效死亡。而因此犯罪的少年大多與其同齡，最小的只有14歲。另有一名17歲的男生，原本品學兼優，上初中時因課間打鬧造成同學受傷，受到老師嚴厲批評，自此一蹶不振，整天沉溺網絡之中，并以暴力抗拒家長管教、脅迫父母為其籌措網資。

據北京公安部門統計，有76%的青少年犯罪與沉迷網游有關。全國各地因孩子沉迷網游導致家庭悲劇或治安問題的事例屢見不鮮。山東省精神衛生中心的統計數據顯示，“網癮”已經成為青少年精神疾病的一大誘發因素；而一些社會學家認為，網癮已與吸毒、性亂構成侵蝕青少年靈魂和肌體、毒化社會氛圍的三大“毒瘤”，且基數遠大于后兩者，其社會危害不可低估。

The statistical data gathered by the Mental Sanitation Center of Shandong Province reveal that Internet addiction has become a key factor inducing mental diseases in adolescents. Some sociologists are of the opinion that Internet addiction， drug addiction and sexual promiscuity are three big \"tumors\" harming the souls and bodies of the adolescents. The level of social damage caused by Internet addiction is even higher than that from drug addiction and sexual promiscuity， and it should not be underestimated.
