改變

Once upon a time， there was a king who ruled a prosperous country. One day， he went for a trip to some distant areas of his country. When he was back to his palace， he complained that his feet were very painful， because it was the first time that he had gone for such a long trip， and the road that he went through was very rough and stony. He then ordered his people to cover every road of the entire country with leather. Definitely， this would need thousands of cows' skin， and would cost a huge amount of money.

Then one of his wise servants dared himself to tell the king，\" Why do you have to spend that unnecessary amount of money? Why don't you just cut a little piece of leather to cover your feet?\"

The king was surprised， but he later agreed to his suggestion， to make a \"shoe\" for himself.

There is actually a valuable lesson of life in this story:to make this world a happy place to live in， you'd better change yourself- your mind， and not the world.

從前，有一個國王，他統(tǒng)治著一個富裕的王國。一天，他到王國的偏遠地區(qū)旅行，回到皇宮后，他抱怨自己的腳很疼，因為這是他第一次走這么長的路，并且那些路都崎嶇不平，到處都是石頭。于是，他就下令把王國的所有路都鋪上皮革。毋庸置疑，這將需要成千上萬頭牛的皮，更要消耗很多費用。

一個聰明的仆人壯著膽子問國王：“為什么要白白花這么多錢呢?您剪一小塊皮革把腳裹上不就行了嗎?”國王很驚訝，但他最終還是采納了仆人的建議，給自己做了一雙“鞋”。

這個故事其實還隱含著一個非常珍貴的人生教訓(xùn)：想這個世界變得更美好，你需要做的是改變你自己，改變自己的思維方式，而不是改變世界。
