自然人文之美

中國文化的燦爛，讓人目眩神迷，品味時驚喜連連；中國文化的博大精深，讓人望而生畏，近而生敬，了解后便知“德先生”和“賽先生”早為中國的“老先生”——“民為貴，社稷次之，君為輕”的思想傳承已久，發明創造之事歷歷可見；中國文化的開放性和包容性，讓每一位旅居中國的外國友人都備感溫馨，如夢故里。

愛中國的大好河山，愛中國的人文歷史，愛中國的生氣勃勃，愛中國的萬般可愛。植根浙江，深愛不已，究其原因，一言以蔽之：自然人文之美，美不勝收。

浙江不止有杭州，杭州不止有西湖，然而，誰若不言西湖于先，而言其他，來日必然后悔道：無西湖，不杭州也！

“水光瀲滟晴方好，山色空蒙雨亦奇。欲把西湖比西子，淡妝濃抹總相宜?！碧K軾《飲湖上初晴后雨二首》可謂贊美西湖美景的絕妙之詩，其“絕妙”而不“絕”，是因為在歷史悠長的長河里，拜倒在西湖美景下的文人騷客，千千萬萬，數不勝數。

不同時分，佇立在西湖的不同位置，徜徉山水，觀賞美景，思緒綿綿：之于生活，愜意心懷；之于情感，初戀佳地；之于事業，信心滿滿?？v覽萬千城市之中心，湖光山色，咫尺呼應，除卻杭州西湖，絕無僅有。

曼妙西湖已傾心，西溪濕地更有情。千島湖上霧縹緲，雁蕩山脈神仙曉，嵊泗蕩舟輕吻海，北侖港口通物產……

情因景生，愛緣人起。浙江之可愛，可愛在于人。較之中華大地其他省市，浙江并無豐富的自然資源，然而，若言當今商品，不單是中國超市的貨架，就連無數發達國家的貨架上，都布滿了浙江出產的各類物品。商賈之地，智慧的寫照。勤勞、勇敢、智慧和創新，這是浙江人引領中國經濟發展，取得輝煌成就的重要保障。

如果說掙錢是一種本領，那么，花錢更顯示出一種品位和檔次。從城市建設、教育事業，到生態環境，浙江是一個名不虛傳的“宜居、宜學和宜游”之地。

在杭州生活5年，對我而言，并非置身事外的旁觀者，而是一名發展建設的參與者。新加坡杭州科技園的建設，遠遠超出了一個單純科技園的概念，她象征著中國和新加坡兩國的深厚友誼，是杭州國際化征程中的重要標志之一，是杭州乃至浙江省，促進經濟結構調整，實現產業升級，創建和諧社會的戰略之舉。新加坡杭州科技園，集工作、生活和娛樂于一體，將自然、人文和科技有機融合，一方面代表著新加坡政府和企業對杭州這座城市，在城市建設、產業發展和人文底蘊方面的肯定與贊賞；另一方面，這也是新加坡政府和企業想要與中國政府及企業分享的自己在發展過程中的經驗和理念。

浙江之美，美在自然；浙江之美，美在人文；浙江之美，美在創新。放眼未來，浙江之美，必然是自然、人文和科技融合之美。

沈榮大，英文名Henry Sim，男，新加坡人，出生于1965年。2006年來到浙江杭州，作為新加坡騰飛集團的資深房地產系統專家，負責新加坡杭州科技園的全面工作，現任園區總經理。

由于從小念的是華語學校，沈先生對中國的文化、地理非常熟悉和喜愛，尤其鐘情于中國的山山水水。來到杭州，沈先生對這里的環境極其贊賞，如今已舉家遷居過來。能在浙江欣賞如畫的風景，同時參與新加坡杭州科技園綜合商務社區的建設，沈先生對自己現在的生活非常滿意。□

Beauty of Nature and Culture

The Chinese culture dazzles and delights me. A stay of three days in China could inspire one to sit down and write a book about the brilliance of the culture. The profound Chinese culture is awe-inspiring from afar and respect-inspiring at close hand. Democracy and science in China can trace back to a long time ago in history. Chinese philosopher Mencius (372-289BC) held that the people were the most important， the god of the land and the god of cereals were less important， the king was still less important. China has a long history of technological inventions and innovations. Therefore， what I am going to write about Chinese culture might be an essay that just repeats what ancients said a long time ago. The openness and tolerance of the Chinese culture makes every foreign friend living in China feel at home.

I love China’s gorgeous landscape. I love China’s culture and history. I love China’s surging vitality. I love China’s wonders. I have put my roots down in Zhejiang simply because I love the province’s dazzling natural beauty.

Zhejiang is more than Hangzhou and Hangzhou is more than the West Lake. But if one does not speak about the West Lake first whenever the topic of Hangzhou comes up， one would feel regret later. Without a visit to the West Lake your visit to Hangzhou would be nothing.

The best short poem depicting the beauty of the West Lake is the one written by Su Shi (1037-1101)， a poet of the Song Dynasty (960-1279). He is just one of the numerous poets and essayists and artists in history who were overwhelmed by the charms of the lake.

The West Lake presents more than its gorgeous beauty. It breeds romance， it gives pleasures to life and it adds confidence to entrepreneurs. The West Lake is unique because of its geographic position in downtown Hangzhou. Then from the West Lake， I have visited Westbrook Wetland in a western suburb of Hangzhou and the 1，000-Isle Lake in Chun’an County. I have also traveled to the Yandang Mountains in southern Zhejiang， Shengsi Islands off the shore of Ningbo， and Beilun Port， which plays a central role in Zhejiang’s export and import with the outside world.

If my passion for Zhejiang is resulted from its gorgeous beauty， my love of the province comes from my understanding of the people. Zhejiang people are lovely. Compared with other cities and provinces， Zhejiang boasts no natural resources. However， the province serves as China’s powerhouse of household goods manufacturing. Supermarkets and shopping malls across China are stuffed with goods made in Zhejiang. Even supermarkets and shopping malls in developed countries are heaped with a great variety of commodities made in Zhejiang.

The prosperity of Zhejiang， a business paradise， is accomplished through the wisdom of its people. Zhejiang people are enterprising， brave， intelligent and creative. Such qualities ensure Zhejiang to continue to lead China in its economic growth.

If making money points to skill， spending money reflects excellence and quality. With fine urban growth， education and ecology， Zhejiang deserves the reputation of a place excellent for living， receiving education and sightseeing.

I have lived in Hangzhou for five years. My five years in Hangzhou have witnessed me working as a contributor to the city’s development. The Singapore-Hangzhou Science Technology Park is more than something suggested by the concept of a science and technology zone. It signifies the profound friendship between China and Singapore， it is a hallmark of Hangzhou’s internationalization， and it is a strategic move taken to help Hangzhou to restructure its economy， uplift industry， and create a harmonized society. The positive benefits from the park will be rippling across the whole province.

The park combines work， life and entertainment， harmonizing nature， culture and technology in its existence. It represents the recognition and approval of Hangzhou and its urbanization， industrial growth and culture on the part of Singaporean Government and business. Moreover， it means that Singaporean government and business want to share with Chinese government and business its experience and concepts gained through its own development.

The beauty of Zhejiang lies in its nature， culture and creativity. If we look to the future， the beauty of Zhejiang will surely be the combination of nature， culture， science and technology.□
