October 11, 2013, CPAPD Deputy Secretary-general Tao Tao attended the release of a report entitled China-U.S. Cooperation: the Key to Global Future. The report is funded by China-U.S. Exchange Fundation, and drafted by China Institute of International Studies and U.S. Atlantic Council.

October 31, 2013, CPAPD Secretary-general Zhu Rui participated in China-U.S. Arms Control Seminar, which focused on cyber security and was the first such seminar by CSGAC-CISAC.
November 1, 2013, CPAPD Deputy Secretary-general Chen Huaifan with an assistant attended the 60thPugwash Conference in Turkey and Chen Huaifan was elected the Pugwash Council Member.
November 5, 2013, CPAPD Secretary-general Zhu Rui met with the Malaysian delegation of the Global Movement of Moderates Foundation (GMMF) headed by GMMF CEO Mr. Saifuddin Bin Abdullah. The two sides shared views on people-to-people exchanges and future cooperation between the two organizations.

November 12, 2013, CPAPD research fellow Hou Hongyu participated in the delegation by China Association for Arms Control and Disarmament, and went to Belgium for a seminar, which was sponsored by China, Africa and Europe with the theme of building capacity and strengthening cooperation to solve the illegal proliferation of small and light arms in East Africa.
