【Abstract】The paper discussed how the new technology change the performance art in the field of performance concepts, forms, vocabulary and interactive experience. The author also introduce the plays produced by Creative institute in Shanghai Theater Academy, such as Paradise, Civilization?Totem, Love Letters and so forth.

1.Performance space: more use of space outside the theatre to create shows; performances occur at a square, in a church, in shopping malls, in the workshop, on the road, on the boat and other living environment

2.Performance relationship: breaking the previous limit separating performance area and audience area; flexible scenes scheduling made performance and audience areas interact with each other, encouraging audience to take a participation with performers, thus the interaction came into being

In performance art, body, space, projection, sound, devices, mud, smoke, fog, fire and water, heavy metal music, multiple media and mechanical technology can construct a strongly impressive cross-border language for performances.
