一、教學設想
本課時的教學任務是學習Unit 4 What Are You Doing?第三課時A:Read and write的內(nèi)容,在教學過程中,我將創(chuàng)設與生活息息相關的真實情境進行閱讀會話教學。首先通過看圖表演的游戲復習句型What are you doing?Im...,同時活躍氣氛。接著利用多媒體課件播放電話邀請朋友去玩的動畫,讓學生感知電話用語并充分調(diào)動學生學習英語的積極性。在新授環(huán)節(jié)先運用動畫主角想去的地方作為一個契機進行主句型操練,再設計由淺入深的問題指導閱讀。在知識鞏固環(huán)節(jié),通過聽音辨人、電話邀請等游戲和練習為學生創(chuàng)造運用所學知識進行交際的機會,并通過這些活動活躍課堂氣氛,達到學以致用的目的。
二、教學內(nèi)容
PEP五年級下冊Unit 4 What Are You Doing?A:Read and write.
三、教學目標
1.能聽、說、讀、寫句型:This is Zhang Peng.What are you doing?I am doing the dishes/reading a book.
2.能用“What are you doing?I am...”互相通電話,詢問對方正在做什么并回答。
3.培養(yǎng)學生合作學習與交流的能力。
四、教學重、難點
1.重點:What are you doing?I am...的聽、說、讀、寫。
2.難點:This is...在電話交談中的意義和Do you want to go to the Childrens Center?的理解與朗讀。

多媒體課件、圖卡、單詞卡等。

(一)Warm-up

(二)Preview
1.師生對話。

設計意圖:教師通過相互打招呼,一方面可活躍課堂氣氛;另一方面可使孩子情緒得到放松,使學生對教師產(chǎn)生親近感,體現(xiàn)平等的師生關系,從而使學生迅速進入學習狀態(tài)。
2.Lets sing:What are you doing?
設計意圖:復習主句型,活躍課堂氣氛。
3.Lets play a game: Look,act and answer教師呈現(xiàn)動作卡片問:What are you doing?學生看圖邊做動作邊回答I am...
設計意圖:復習主句型,為下面的學習作鋪墊。
(三)Presentation
1.通過故事感知電話用語并引入生詞talking。(Boys and girls, do you like stories?OK!Lets watch the cartoon.)課件播放King電話邀請伙伴一起去玩的情景,讓學生在欣賞故事的同時感知電話用語和talking的意思。
設計意圖:通過有趣的小故事調(diào)動學生學習的興趣。
2.教學難點句型:Do you want to go to the Childrens Center?(Oh,no one play with King.Maybe he wants to go to the Sports Center.)課件呈現(xiàn)孩子們熟悉的體育中心的圖片,理解center的意義。(The Labour Day is coming. Do you want to go to the Childrens Center?)課件呈現(xiàn)兒童活動中心圖片。
設計意圖:通過運用孩子們熟知的本地體育中心的圖片讓學生理解新詞的意思,再過渡到復雜句子的聽說,這樣既能充分吸引學生的注意力,又降低了讀說的難度。
3.重點句型操練。(There are many children in the Childrens Center. What are they doing?Lets go and see.)課件出示兒童活動中心里面孩子們的活動場景,讓學生兩兩對話練習:What are they doing?They are ...What is he/she doing?He/She is...教師把這些句型板書出來。
設計意圖:結合活動中心里有趣的活動場景,讓學生以交際的形式運用所學的句型。
4.文段教學。(The children are very happy. Someone wants to go to the Childrens Center too.Who are they?)先讓學生聽課文錄音和觀看動畫,回答問題:What is Zhang Peng doing?What is John doing?(學生書寫答案)再讓學生跟讀和分角色讀,最后分角色扮演。
5.小結電話用語。
(四)Practise
1.聽力游戲。
播放一段預先錄好的同班同學的電話交談內(nèi)容,讓學生先聽音辨人:Who are they?再聽一遍回答:What is Li ×× doing?What is Ling ×× doing?Where do they want to go?
設計意圖:通過熟悉的同學的聲音既拉近英語學習與現(xiàn)實生活的距離,充分調(diào)動學習的積極性,活躍課堂氣氛,又達到鍛煉聽力,鞏固新知的目的。
2.看誰先通關。
選詞填空:
(1)She (is/are)answering on the phone.
(2)They (is / are) sweeping the floor.
(3)Sarah can (wash/washing)the clothes.
(4)Mike is (clean/cleaning) the bedroom.
(5)I often (watch/watching)TV at home on weekends.
設計意圖:通過選詞填空的練習方式,鞏固比較抽象的知識。
(五)Add-activities
交際活動。Make a phone call.
課件出示本地各旅游景點圖片,讓學生參考下面句子來交際。
A: Hello.
B:Hi,...This is...What are you doing?
A:Im...What are you doing?
B:Im....
A:Do you want to go to…?
B:Sure.What time?

B:OK.See you later!

設計意圖:通過為學生創(chuàng)設話題情景,啟發(fā)學生使用語言,學生通過自主探究、協(xié)作、交流,共同完成學習任務。

1.聽讀課文對話。
2.給你的好朋友打個電話試著將電話內(nèi)容寫下來。
