Material and culture have a certain influence on the political life.In general,the higher level of economic development of the country,people's political life is more democratic.Culture has some negative effect on the political life.China's traditional culture has restricted the people's political life in some ways.

Democracy is the common pursuit of political life in the contemporary world.As one of the superstructure of human society, political life is restricted by the material conditions of a certain society.At the same time,the political life is bound to be influenced by the cultural environment.Aristotle,founder of Western political research thinks:"human beings are born with gregarious temperament.So it can not be a period of such a high level of (political)combination,however,the first idea and the creation of such groups of people should be respected by future generations".His words contained the meaning that people can only play their own potential by being integrated into the social group.That is to say,the social and political phenomenon and the interpretation of political life explore the root causes.The social structure and social relations establish a proper explanation.Famous American political scientist Seymour Martin Lipset inherited the Aristotle's political research methods,and innovation,he believed that the politics of one of the main tasks is to analysis,to promote the social conditions of democracy.With Lipset's analysis of the social conditions for the promotion of democracy,we have some inspiration.The development of democratic politics is the main melody of the contemporary political development.The study of modern politics is sure that the level of democratic politics is closely related to the economic development of a certain society.
