淺談初中英語寫作教學的方法

針對當今初中英語寫作教學中的一些誤區,在充分認識英語寫作的重要性后,初中英語寫作教學工作該如何開展呢?結合一些教學實際,來探討一下初中英語寫作教學的方法。
英語寫作教學 由簡到繁 擴寫
英語寫作在教學上有兩個方面的含義。其一是書寫或書法,包含字母、單詞、句子、標點符號、國際音標的正確寫法。其二是寫作,即筆頭表達。如作文、寫課文概要、寫信、寫日記等。本文所指寫作只是著重講述第二方面的內容,即筆頭表達。
初中英語寫作在當今許多省市的中考中占有相當重的比重,一般都是以書面表達的形式出現,或命題作文,或看圖表寫話,或給材料作文。許多學生原本基礎知識就不是很牢靠,一見作文就頭疼,從而直接導致在中考中失分嚴重。書面表達儼然已經成為現行中考英語科考試拉開差距的一道題。
針對當今初中英語寫作教學中的一些誤區,在充分認識英語寫作的重要性后,初中英語寫作教學工作該如何開展呢?下面就結合我的一些教學實際,來探討一下初中英語寫作教學的方法。
對七年級學生或是英語初學者來說,應該從遣詞造句開始。例如,
第一步,給出單詞book、pen,讓學生給他們加不定冠詞a或an,則得到a book、a pen.
第二步,用句型This is…和That is…套用,寫出This is a book和That is a pen兩句話。
第三步,填充材料或替換。將My sister’s或My brother’s替換a,寫出This is my sister’s book和That is my brother’s book兩句話。
第四步,運用句型…is here和…is there寫出My brother is here和My sister is there.
第五步,運用句型…is eleven和…is twelve寫出My brother is eleven. My sister is twelve.
第六步,填充材料 My sister,my brother are students.They are reading books.They are good students.
第七步,把以上各步驟中所寫的句子串連起來,寫出以My Sister and My brother為題的一個小短文:This is my brother’s book. That is my sister’s pen. My brother is here. My sister is there. My sister and my brother are students. They are reading books. They are good students.
第一級,改寫。給學生(初學者)一篇小故事、小記敘文等(或用現行教材現成的課文),讓他們加以改寫。例如:
My name is Helen Green. This is a photo of my family. There are six people in my family, They are my husband Jeff, his father and mother, my son Jim, my daughter Kate and I.《初中英語第一冊(上)》,可以讓學生改寫為:
My name is Jeff Green.This is a photo of my family.There are five people in my family.They are my wife Helen,my father and mother,and my daughe Kate.
第二級,擴寫。讓學生把一篇給出的文章從內容和結構上加以擴展。
Nora is an old woman. She has a big family.There are ten people in her family. Her husband is Da.They have three children…可以讓學生擴寫成:
Noran is an old American wowan. She is sixty.She has a big family in America.There are ten people in family.They are all very happy.Her has band is Dan.He is an old man.They have three children.Their children love them very much.
第三級,給提綱,讓學生寫作文。如針對“My English Teacher作文題,給出下列提綱:
(1)My English teacher is an Enligh man.
(2)He works hard.
(3)He is friendly to us.
(4)He often helps us with our English.
(5)All of my class love him.
讓學生根據提綱 My English Teacher為題寫作,例如,有學生寫得如下作文:
My English Theacher
My English teacher is an English man.His name is Mike. He is a good teacher.Because he often works hard.Sometimes he keeps on working till 11:00 p.m.He's very friendly to us.In the class he is a teacher.After the class he is our good friend.He usually helps us with our English.He often asks us to practice speaking English with him and tells some interesting stories in English.So we all love him and we know he loves us as well.
以上四級寫作難度的演進,只是一個大概的輪廓。但它已經表明寫作并不難,掌握英語寫作的基本技能。
無論是從中考、高考的命題方向來看,也還是從學生的長遠發展而言,英語寫作都是極其重要的。初中英語寫作教學可謂是任重而道遠,只要我們英語教師堅持“從早抓起,由簡到繁”這一原則,就一定能從整體上提高英語寫作的教學水平,為我國的教育教學改革貢獻自己的力量。
