（1） How do/does sb get （to）...？是用來詢問對方或他人如何到達某地的常用句型。

其常用回答有如下幾種：

Sb walk（s） to school/Sb get（s） to school on foot

某人步行去學校

Sb ride（s） a bike to school /sb get（s） to school by bike

某人騎自行車去學校

（2） get to意為“到達”，get為不及物動詞，若加賓語，后面需接介詞to。

注意：get后接home，here，there，downstairs，upstairs等副詞時，其后不加to。

I usually get home at six thirty every evening.

我通常每天晚上六點半到家。

（3） take vt. 乘坐……，后接表示交通工具的名詞。

表示“乘……”的幾種表達方式

①“take + a/the + 交通工具”是動詞短語，在句中作謂語動詞。

take a bus 乘公共汽車

②“in/on + a/the + 交通工具”是介詞短語，在句中作狀語。

on a train 乘火車

③“by + 交通工具”在句中作狀語，名詞前無冠詞。

by bus/taxi 乘公共汽車/出租車

注意：步行 on foot

by sea = by ship 乘船by rail = by train 乘火車

by air = by plane 乘飛機

2. — How far is it from your home to school？

從你家離學校有多遠？

— I’m not sure...about ten kilometers.

我不確定……大約10千米。

How far意為“多遠”，用來詢問距離，指路程的遠近。

How far is it from the hospital to the bank？

從醫院到銀行有多遠？

如何回答how far的提問：

（1） 有具體的數字時，應與away from連用，口語away可省略。

（2） 沒有具體數字時，應用far或near作答。

（3） 也可以“時間+walk/ride/drive”回答。

— How far is your home from your school？

你家離學校有多遠？

— It’s about three kilometers from my school.

我家離學校大約3千米。

— It’s not very far.

不是很遠。

— It’s about 25 minutes’ walk/a 25-minute walk.

步行大約25分鐘。

注意：far不與具體的時間相連。

4. — How long does it take you to get to school？

你到學?；ǘ嚅L時間？

— About 15 minutes by bike.

騎自行車大約15分鐘。

（1） how long意為“多久，多長時間”。用以詢問某個動作所持續的時間，謂語動詞應為持續動詞，答語多為表示一段時間的名詞短語。

— How long will you stay there？

你要在那待多久？

— About a week.

大約一周。

（2） It takes sb some time to do sth為固定句型，意為“做某事需要花費某人多長時間”。take在此句型中意為為“花費”，it是形式主語，真正主語是后面的不定式to do sth。

It takes me about an hour to do my homework every day.

我每天大約花1個小時做作業。
