（1） 使用；運用

As a student， you should learn how to use a dictionary.

（2） 與for或as連用，構成短語use...for，意為“用來做……；為了……而使用”，use...as意為“作為……使用；用作……”。

（4） used to 慣常

used to后跟動詞原形，used to do sth，意為“過去常常做某事”，暗示現在已經不再做某事。

watch，see，look，read這四個詞的區別：

（1） watch意為“觀看；注視”，強調“看”的過程。指長時間看某一活動的場面，如：看電視、比賽、表演、賞月等。

He likes watching TV.

他喜歡看電視。

（2） look強調發出“看”的動作，不注重結果。是一個不及物動詞，帶賓語時加at。如：

Look. There is a boy under the tree.

看，樹下有一個男孩。

（3） see強調“看”的結果。指看見還是沒看見。也指看電影（see a movie）、看病（see a doctor）如：

I can see some birds in the tree.

我能看見樹上有一些鳥。

（4） read意為“看；讀”。其賓語常是有文字的“書、報、雜志”等。如：

He is reading a book.

他正在看書。
