Jazz Made in Guangzhou

The annual Guangzhou Jazz Festival is the largest music event in Guangzhou. From 3rd to 10th

December 2017, eight theatrical performances of global musicians wowed the audience on the stage of the Festival. The event coincided with the Fortune Global Forum held at the same time in Guangzhou.

The performances were led by the 2008 Grammyquot;Best Jazz Vocal Album Awardquot; winner Patti Austin,joined by bands from France, Serbia, and famous jazz musicians from China such as Xiajia Quartet,the Li Xiaochuan Quartet and local band Project Ace, as well as talented songwriter Chang Shilei at the closing ceremony.

爵士樂律動廣州

一年一度的廣州爵士音樂節是廣州最盛大的音樂嘉年華。 2017年12月3—10日，8場匯集全球音樂家的高水準演出登上廣州爵士音樂節的舞臺，適逢世界矚目的財富論壇在廣州舉辦，音樂與花城共律動。

演出由2008年格萊美“最佳爵士演唱專輯獎”得主佩蒂·奧斯汀領銜，匯聚來自法國、塞爾維亞的爵士樂隊，以及中國爵士樂界著名樂隊夏佳四重奏、李曉川五重奏和廣州本土樂隊王牌計劃，中國樂壇才華出眾的著名唱作人常石磊壓軸閉幕式。

China Stories on Screen

2017 Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival,China (GZDOC) was held during 11th-14th December atGuangzhou Library. GZDOC is one of the eight major international documentary exhibitions in the world. This year, a total of 4239documentaries from 113 countries/regions participated in the appraisal and exhibition. Starting from 9th December, more than 100 documentaries of GZDOC Film Festival were shown on the screen of 14 cinemas and 12 art spaces in Guangzhou.The GZDOC, together with more than 50 overseas professional organisations and fi lm festivals, will help more Chinese stories to be told on a wider global stage.

2017中國（廣州）國際紀錄片節于12月11—14日在廣州圖書館舉行。廣州國際紀錄片節是國際八大紀錄片專業節展之一，今年有來自全球113個國家和地區，共4239部/集作品參評參展。12月9日起，100多部紀錄片開始在廣州14家影院和12家文藝空間輪流展映。廣州國際紀錄片節將聯合海外五十余家專業機構以及一流節展，助力“中國故事”登上更廣闊的全球舞臺。

EVAW Art Exhibition 2017

November 25th was initiated by the United Nations as The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, also known as EVAW day. Now coming on three years, the CWFF (China Women's Film Festival), partnered with UN Women, has organised an annual EVAW Art Exhibition to raise public awareness on violence against women and girls. Artists from around the world submitted their artwork to highlight the prevalence of domestic violence, and the perseverance necessary to combat it.

若妳安好

11月25日是聯合國確定的“國際消除針對婦女暴力日”。由中國國際女性影展、聯合國婦女署共同主辦的第三屆若妳安好女性國際藝術展，通過展出全世界藝術家針對女性權益的作品，提高公眾對于性別平等和制止性別暴力的認知。
