對我而言，葡萄酒是一種常見的生活飲品，它可以很自然地與其他生活方式相結(jié)合，葡萄酒旅游就是其中之一。

盡管舊世界國家才是葡萄酒的起源之地，但最近看來，葡萄酒旅行可不僅局限于舊世界國家。雖然許多城市都有當(dāng)?shù)氐钠咸丫乒?jié)日，但是如果你想要拜訪酒莊，還是需要提前預(yù)約。說實話，葡萄酒旅游可是興起于新世界國家。

除了在酒窖品酒以外，葡萄酒旅游還包括享用美味佳肴，選擇合適住所，欣賞壯麗景色，感受當(dāng)?shù)匚幕榷喾N多樣的活動，這對非葡萄酒愛好者而言，也很有吸引力。打造一條“葡萄酒旅游”路線，并不是一個酒莊能夠完成的任務(wù)，而是需要整個產(chǎn)區(qū)的共同努力。

在南非的西開普葡萄酒產(chǎn)區(qū)，就有20多條帶有明顯路標指示的葡萄酒路線。不少路線距離開普敦只有幾個小時的路程。斯泰倫博斯、弗朗斯胡克、德班維爾和康斯坦提亞距離最近（從開普敦出發(fā)只需要1個小時），因此也最受歡迎，大多數(shù)酒莊都對游客開放。酒莊里的員工們非常熱情好客，真正體現(xiàn)了南非的精神。葡萄酒品鑒內(nèi)容豐富，也讓人感覺十分舒適。如果你去拜訪一家規(guī)模較小的酒莊，那就很可能會和莊主或釀酒師共享一瓶美酒。

新西蘭的葡萄酒產(chǎn)區(qū)覆蓋面積很大，從北部的庫妙河延伸至南部的中奧塔哥。因此對于旅客而言，一次性拜訪兩家以上的酒莊就很有難度。如果你只在奧克蘭停留幾天，去激流島和瑪塔卡納島最方便。中奧塔哥就是戶外運動的天堂，你可以在這里徒步、騎自行車、劃船和滑雪，一切都近在咫尺。產(chǎn)區(qū)還做了一本葡萄酒信息齊全的小冊子，指引人們通過不同的活動方式，品味這里著名的黑皮諾葡萄酒。在霍克斯灣，包括其子產(chǎn)區(qū)—吉布利礫石區(qū)，葡萄酒的種類最多。附近的納皮爾鎮(zhèn)上還有有趣的裝飾藝術(shù)建筑。

阿德萊德是南澳大利亞葡萄酒產(chǎn)區(qū)的基地，從城市出發(fā)到達阿德萊德山和麥克拉倫谷只需要1個小時。麥克拉倫谷擁有自行車小徑和未被破壞的海灘，當(dāng)?shù)厝讼矚g在周末時“逃離”阿德萊德到這里享受生活。到達克萊爾谷和巴羅薩谷需要3個小時的路程，但按照澳洲人的旅游時間標準來說，也不算遠。阿德萊德還是奔富酒莊的故鄉(xiāng)，這就足以成為一大亮點了。

過去的6個月里我在這3個城市釀酒，我發(fā)現(xiàn)：南非能夠提供最好的葡萄酒旅游體驗，適合各種旅游需求。新西蘭和澳大利亞雖然擁有最多的葡萄酒產(chǎn)區(qū)，卻缺乏住宿和餐飲的選擇，但并不影響這兩個國家?guī)Ыo你一場難忘的葡萄酒之旅。

Next time when you travel to these countries, treat yourself a few days in the wine regions to indulge in the wine and lifestyle experience.

To me, wine is a lifestyle beverage and therefore it’s logical that it goes hand in hand with other lifestyle choices. Tourism certainly is one of them.

Although Old World was where wine began but wine tourism was not an Old World‘thing’until recently. There may be various local wine festivals but visiting wineries still requires prior arrangement. Wine tourism really started in the New World.

Wine tourism is not only about wine tasting at cellar doors.It also encompasses culinary delights, accommodation options,breath-taking landscapes, cultural experience and other activities that also appeal to non-wine lovers. Therefore, it is not a task of a single winery but a joint effort of the entire wine region, hence the birth of‘wine routes’.

South Africa has over 20 well sign-posted wine routes in the wine growing region Western Cape and many of them are within a few hours from Cape Town. Stellenbsoch, Franschhoek,Durbanville and Constantia are the closest (one hour from Cape Town) and therefore the most popular. Most of the wineries are open to visitors. The staff, truly live up to the South African spirit,is very friendly and enthusiastic. Wine tastings are informative but cosy. In smaller wineries, it is quite likely that you will be sharing a glass of wine with the owners or winemakers.

For wineries that have eateries attached, choices are from delicious picnic baskets to top end gourmet meals, plus various wine and food tasting experiences. There are numerous accommodation arrangement both within the estates and at nearby towns that suit all budget. Non-wine activities range from art exhibitions and game drive to hiking and segway ride - You name it,they have it. South African wine routes just have that magic touch to charm even non-wine drinkers to love South African wine and the country. New Zealand wine regions cover a wide area from Kumeu River in the north to Central Otago in the south therefore it is difficult for travellers to visit more than a couple in one visit. If you only have a few days in Auckland, then Waiheke Island and Matakana will be the most convenient. Central Otago is an outdoor activities paradise where hiking, cycling, boating and skiing are just round the corner.The region produces an informative wine booklet where one can savour their renowned Pinot Noir in between various activities.Hawkes Bay, including sub-region Gimblett Gravels, has the most varieties of wine and the nearby town Napier has pleasant art-deco buildings.

Adelaide is the base to visit South Australia’s wine regions where Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale are only one hour from the city. With its un-spoilt beach and cycling trails, McLaren Vale is a popular weekend escape for Adelaide folks. Clare and Barossa valleys are three hours from Adelaide but the travel time is considered normal by Aussie’s standard. Adelaide is also the home of Penfolds Magill Estate that is an attraction on its own.

I spent the last six months making wine in these three countries, I found South Africa offers the best wine tourism experience as it ticks all the boxes. Most wine regions in New Zealand and Australia lack accommodation choices and dining options but nevertheless offer memorable wine tourism experience.

Next time when you travel to these countries, treat yourself a few days in the wine regions to indulge in the wine and lifestyle experience. !
