一、設計理念:

本節課的教學內容是一節完整的閱讀板塊,采用單詞講解,讀前預測,讀中利用尋讀和細讀的閱讀策略提取文章關鍵信息,讀后利用思維導圖總結全文信息,然后講解文章難句的設計思路,培養學生的分析能力和閱讀技能。

二、教學目標

1.語言知識: Learn some new words: product,France,no matter,local,brand,avoid,handbag,mobile,everyday. Some language points in the passage. After? reading the passage,students can know it is difficult to buy American products in the US.

2.語言技能: Reading the passage,learn to guess the meaning of the words according to the context,learn to use scanning and careful reading to extract the main idea and topic sentences of the passage.

3.情感態度: By reading the passage,students can understand the development of China in modern times and realize that our great China is rising rapidly. From the previous dependence on foreign industrial products to the manufacturing of China,China has joined the ranks of industrial powers.

4.學習策略:? Learn to sum up the important information of the passage that can help you understand the passage well.

5.文化意識:? Improve Students national pride and confidence,understand that our country has both light industry and high-technology industry,and look forward to the development prospects of our country by reading. We should work hard to make our country move from “Made in China” to “Created in China”,from “China speed” to “China quality” and from “Chinese products” to “Chinese brands”.

三、教學重難點

重點: Learn to summarize the main idea and topic sentences through reading strategies.

難點: Learn to comb the structure of the passage by reading.

五、教學過程

Step 1 Leading in

T: Look at these two beautiful pictures. Do you know what bridge it is? Yes,it is Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It was made in China. Now I can go to Hong Kong and Macao quickly,I feel proud of our country,do you agree with me? I will give my friend a call to tell her.

【設計意圖】由珠港澳大橋導入,引起學生學習興趣,同時激發學生的愛國熱情,為下文的學習做好鋪墊。

Step 2 New words

As we know,phone is a product. I have two mobile phones,they are all local brands.No matter where I go,I always put them in my handbag.They are avoided seeing by my mother.I want to buy a bottle of perfume made in France.? Read these words after teacher. Read these words by themselves.Remember these words. Read and spell these words.

【設計意圖】借由圖片,設置情境,教授本課的新單詞,達到情境教學的目的,使學生更清晰準確的記住單詞。

Step 3 Pre-reading

T: Look at the picture,what is it?

S: Its an American flag.

T: Where was it made?

S: In American./In China./In France…

T: It was made in China.

T: If you go to America,you will find that it's difficult to search for American products in the US.

Three questions about the title.

1. Where is the tourist?

S: America.

2. Does he want to buy Chinese products or American products?

S: American products.

3. Is it easy for him to buy American products?

S: No,it isnt.

T: But why?

If you have a chance to go to America,what will you want to buy most? Today,lets read about Kang Jians story and find out what he wanted to buy in America and whether he found them or not.

Step 4 While-reading

Introduce the reading strategy.

Scanning: Move your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information.

1. Read the first paragraph and match the countries with the pictures.

Careful reading: Read each paragraph carefully. Get a full understanding of the article.

If you go to Switzerland, what will you buy? (watch)

If you go to Japan, what will you buy? (camera)

5. Read the passage again and write what the words in bold refer to in 3c.

those(products): whatever products you buy in other countries.

those (countries): the countries you visit

it: that so many products in the local shops were made in China

they: toys

Note: A pronoun is used to replace(代替)a noun, a noun phrase or another pronoun that has already been mentioned(被提到). When a pronoun is used, it makes the sentence more concise (簡明的)and less repetitive (重復的). Being able to understand how pronouns are used is an important skill for reading and writing.
