樓高 12層的商業綜合體涉及東薈城商場擴建項目以及一間新的精品酒店,底層設有公共交通總站,鄰近香港國際機場。項目有效筑起緊密社區連結,帶動自然流暢的人流動線。商場部分已于 2019年啟用,為商場引入 50 個品牌,酒店亦預計在 2020年開幕。作為項目建筑師及室內設計師(零售及酒店),事務所于項目內采取一系列推動可持續發展及提高能源效益的措施,有助項目所在的東涌成為低碳社區。
Located near Hong Kong International Airport, the 12-storey commercial complex includes an extension of the Citygate mall, a new boutique hotel and a ground-floor public transport terminus, giving rise to a closely linked community with an intuitive flow of people.The mall extension opened in 2019 bringing 50 new brands to Citygate, and the hotel is set to welcome guests in 2020.As Project Architect and Interior Designer (Retail & Hotel), LWK + PARTNERS took a series of measures to promote sustainability and energy efficiency to foster a low carbon community in Tung Chung.
