教學內容：

魯教版義務教育教科書《英語》（五四學制）八年級下冊Unit 2? Its a nice day， isnt it？ Section B? 2b-2c涉及的語法點為反義疑問句。通過Section A部分的鋪墊學習，學生已經對反義疑問句有了初步的認識，能夠用其進行基本的對話。本節課的話題“閑聊”則以閱讀課的形式讓學生以全新的視角學習反義疑問句在文章中的應用，從而引導學生可以運用簡短的文章來描述如何在特定場合用適當的話題開始閑聊，培養與陌生人交流的能力。

教學目標：

1.語言知識目標：

學習重點詞匯：everyday， introduction， dialog， period， empty， business， basic， private， subject，avoid，form，worker，helpful，customer，light，humorous

學習重點短語：small talk， break the ice， empty silence，wait in line

掌握重點句型：make sb. do sth.和Its +adj+for sb.+ to do sth.，達到聽、說、讀、寫四會，并熟練使用目標句型。

2.語言技能目標：學會如何與陌生人展開交談。

3.情感態度目標：通過對“閑話”的初步學習，使學生了解不同文化背景下對于閑聊的認識以及適當的選擇閑聊內容，培養與陌生人交流的能力，進而幫助學生們學會傾聽與共情。

教學重點：

掌握重點詞匯，通過一系列閱讀理解活動理解反義疑問句的含義，掌握其結構并能熟練運用。

教學方法：任務型教學法、交際法

教學過程：

Step Ⅰ? Leading-in

T： Good morning ， my class.

Ss： Good morning， teacher.

T：? Weve learned the tag question before.But do you know when we usually use it？

Ss：No.

T： We usually use it to introduce a small talk.But what is small talk？ Lets watch a video clip to learn about it and then answer the two questions on the screen.

Ss： OK.

（Play the video.）

T： OK.Whos got the answers？

S1： Small talk is a kind of short conversation between strangers.

S2： We usually talk about weather， hobbies or something else in small talk.

T： Correct.So today were going to learn more about small talk.

設計意圖：學生通過觀看有關于閑話的短片，初步了解閑話的功能。讓學生初步感知它的用法，為下面的學習打好基礎。

Step Ⅱ Pre-reading

T：? We can see there is a picture and a title in this passage.They are very important.We can predict what we will read .

S3： Maybe we will learn how to use a small talk.

S4：We may also learn when we should use it.

T：? Yes.Now lets listen to the tape and find out the proper title of each paragraph to check whether our predictions are right.（ Play the tape and then check the answers.）

設計意圖：讓學生根據文章標題及插圖猜測文章大意，然后通過聽力練習檢驗自己的猜測并找出各段小標題。激發學生的好奇心，為閱讀訓練做好鋪墊。

StepⅢ? While- reading

T：? Weve just used a new reading strategy to get the main idea of the passage.That is Predicting using topic sentences.But if we want to know more ，we have to read it again carefully.Now lets turn to next task--scanning.Please read the first paragraph carefully and try to fill in the chart.

T： From this paragraph we know the small talk is so useful.But who usually use it？ Lets read paragraph 2 and choose TRUE or FALSE.

Ss： Weather， hobbies and so on.

T： Good memory.Are the topics the same in different countries？

Ss：Maybe not.

T： Lets read paragraph 4 and 5 and find out the answers.This time the task is a little difficult ，you have to rewrite the paragraph.So please read and think carefully.You can have a discussion with your partner.Are you ready？

設計意圖：通過兩種閱讀技巧引出的六種閱讀任務，層層遞進，由簡到難，讓學生迅速抓住文章重點，了解文章大意，完成相關練習。各項任務形式不同，參照中考閱讀題型設置，讓學生真正地在閱讀課上得到實戰練習，提前熟悉中考題型。

StepⅣ? Post-reading

T： About the small talk， weve learned so much .Do you still remember it？

Ss：Yes.

T： OK.Lets check.（smiling）As you can see，there is a graph on the screen.Its the mind map of the small talk.Now lets try to retell the passage according to it one by one.Then the first group to finish is the winner.Are you ready？Move！

（Students answer one by one.）

T：? All of you did a good job in this class.Small talk is very useful in our daily life.So next time ，when you come across a stranger ，dont be shy or afraid.You can start your conversation with small talk.

設計意圖：讓學生根據思維導圖能夠自己復述出small talk的安全話題、禮貌引語以及特點。為課后背誦做鋪墊。以小組接龍競賽的形式完成全班范圍的口語操練，讓每一名學生都有機會開口說英語。既有競爭的趣味性，又能在最短時間內讓更多的人參與到課堂中來。

T： How time flies.Do you remember what weve learned today？

Ss： The small talk.

Ss： Almost every one will use small talk.

Ss：Different countries have different topics of small talk.

Ss：Small talk can make us relaxed especially between strangers.

設計意圖：學生通過自己總結本節課所學到的內容，達到對新知識學習的深入理解。

1.If you are a student of a senior high school，what will you say to your desk mate on the first day？

2.Write a short passage on how to make a successful small talk.

設計意圖：作業分層布置，更能體現出因材施教。讓每一個學生都能完成適合自己水平的作業。

反思：

閱讀課是初中英語的教學重點，中考中閱讀的分數比重也是比較大的。教師在日常的閱讀教學中，要不斷鉆研、學習，給學生呈現出一節節精彩紛呈的閱讀課。本堂課采用了多種教學手段，如啟發法、演示法等，循序漸進地幫助學生感知、熟悉、掌握small talk的用法。隨著信息技術在閱讀課的廣泛應用，我也不斷地嘗試在閱讀教學中多采用多媒體教學手段，以求更好地調動學生的學習興趣。本節課通過視頻導入讓學生初步了解什么是small talk，通過語境提示幫助學生透徹理解與應用small talk，既給學生提供原汁原味的英語學習素材，也讓學生在學習中更本土化地了解國外的風俗習慣。

一系列精心編寫的中考題型的練習題讓本堂閱讀課做到了閱讀并能理解其義。提前感知中考，熟悉題型。讓學生在讀中練，練中提。讀前預測、課后總結等都體現了“以學生為主體，以教師為主導”的教學原則。復述活動以小組PK的形式進行，增加了學生的參與興趣，調動了全班學生的參與度。做到了學以致用，使學生的聽說讀寫能力得到了鍛煉，培養了英語思維。
