在全球化背景下,不同國家不同文化的人們開展跨文化交際越來越多,具備跨文化意識已經成為英語學習者的基本素養。我們除了要學會運用英語這門語言外,還要了解中西方文化知識作為為支撐,才能在交往中不斷吸收接納不同國家各種形式的文化。英語教師既是英語教學的執行者又是我國優秀傳統文化的傳播者。在英語教學中不能僅僅注重西方知識的傳授,還應該加強中國優秀傳統文化的融入和滲透,讓學生更好地發出中國聲音,講好中國故事,傳播中國文化,堅定文化自信,更好地培養學生的跨文化交際能力,從而達到英語教學的目的。
為了體現新課標提出的培養學生“核心素養”的目標,提升學生的文化意識,下面是人教版九年級第二單元Section A (3a-3c)的教學設計,讓學生在英語閱讀中感受中國優秀文化的魅力。

Step 1 warming up
The video of the beauty in Luo yang (CCTV Mid-Autumn Evening Party fell in Luo yang this year.)
Designing aims:觀看中秋晚會洛陽會場的宣傳短片,讓學生初步感知中國傳統節日中秋節。激發學生的閱讀興趣,為接下來的語篇閱讀做準備,也可以激活學生頭腦中原有的背景知識,活躍思維。

Discuss the facts and symbols of Mid-Autumn Festival:
Date,full moon,moon cakes,the story of Chang’e,family reunion,feelings

Designing aims:第一段中秋節滿月的形狀和它承載著中國人愛和思念的聯系入手勾起學生對中秋節的回憶,為下文嫦娥的故事做鋪墊。
Part2 The story of Chang’e
Task1 Discuss how many characters are there in the story?Task2 Read para2 and answer the following questions:
Q1:How did Hou Yi get the magic medicine?
Q2:Why is the medicine magical?
Q3:Who tried to steal the medicine and did he make it?
Q4:What did Hou Yi do after seeing his wife and why?

Designing aims:在英語語篇閱讀后用回答問題,故事排序,復述課文的方法引導學生了解后羿射日,王母賜藥,逢蒙偷藥,解嫦娥奔月的故事,對學生進行有效的跨文化意識培養。讓學生加深對中秋節思念家人,用月亮寄托對家人思念的理解。

Designing aims:用優美的中國古詩詞“海上生明月,天涯共此時”“但愿人長久,千里共嬋娟”來升華中國人對中秋節的情感。本環節在語言輸入的前提下強調語言輸出,讓學生小組討論其它形式地中國傳統文化。老師教會學生應該傳承、發展、傳播中國優秀傳統文化,在國際舞臺上講好中國故事,發出中國聲音,樹立文化自信。

Please write to your foreign pen pal about our traditional Chinese festivals,then ask him to talk about their traditional festivals to you .
Designing aims:通過語篇閱讀教學,學生們深入了解了中國傳統節日中秋節,感受到中國優秀傳統文化的魅力,并最終讓學生與英語國家優秀文化進行對比,形成跨文化交際意識。
本課通過對中國傳統節日中秋節的學習,增強了學生講好中國故事的本領,傳播中國文化的自信?!队⒄Z課程標準(2011年版)》指出文化意識是英語學科核心素養的重要組成部分,學生通過英語課程的學習應達成以下目標:獲得文化知識,理解文化內涵,比較文化異同,汲取文化精華,形成正確的價值觀,堅定文化自信,形成自尊、自信、自強的良好品格,具備一定的跨文化溝通的和傳播中華文化的能力。本課的學習培養了學生的跨文化意識有助于學生增強國家認同感和家國情懷。
