Chinese painting is an art form with a long and wonderful history. It shows China’s deep cultural heritage（遺產） and special aesthetic（審美的） ideas. Chinese painting has developed over thousands of years， forming various styles and schools.

In Chinese painting， artists use traditional tools like brushes， ink， and rice paper. The brushstrokes are smooth and free， carrying the artist’s feelings and expressions. Scenes of nature， people， birds， and flowers are common subjects. Artists often try to convey a mood or a sense of harmony（和諧） with nature through their paintings.

Some very famous Chinese paintings have made a lasting impression on the art world. Along the River During the Qingming Festival by Zhang Zeduan is a great work. It clearly shows the daily life and social activities in the Northern Song Dynasty with detailed and big scenes. Another well-known work is Five Oxen by Han Huang. The painting shows five oxen in different positions and looks， showing the artist’s excellent painting skills and great ability to observe. Qi Baishi’s Shrimp is also highly thought of. Through simple lines and ink， the shrimps seem to become alive on the paper. Xu Beihong’s Galloping Horse shows the strength and energy of the horses with bold and vigorous（充滿活力的） strokes.

Each painting is not only a visual show but also a spiritual trip. It catches the essence and spiritual core of the subjects. Chinese painting has had a significant effect on many art styles around the world and still attracts people with its elegance and depth. It is a valuable treasure in the storehouse of world art， and its charm will continue to shine through the ages.

Let me tell you an unforgettable thing about photography. Once， I went to a small village. I saw an old man sitting in front of his house and enjoyed the sun. His face looked old， but his eyes were kind and quiet. I took a photo quickly. When I saw the photo later， I was moved. This made me know that photography is not only taking pictures， but also telling stories.

So photography is my favourite and an important part of my life. It lets me record the nice world and share it with others.
