My First Time to Be a Volunteer1

As the saying goes，“When you give roses， their fragrance lingers on your hand.\"Volunteering isimportantforteenagerstoachievetheirdreams and growasindividuals.

Myclassorganizedavolunteeractivitylast year.Itwasmy first time being a volunteer，so I wasso excited. We got up early and gathered in thePorridge Housewhere weplannedto serve breakfasttothestreetcleaners.We firstvisited the houseunder the guidance of our teacher. Then we were divided into groups to finish different tasks.

Mygroup poured theporridge into a bigbucketand moved itoutside.Bythen thecleanersoutsidewere alreadywaitingfortheirmeals.We served them porridgeand steamed bread inan orderly manner. Seeing the grateful smiles on their faceswhile working，Ifeltdeeplysatisfied.

Thisexperience helpedmeunderstand that helping others isone of the best ways to feel happy and fulfilled. Itwas truly unforgettable！
